Dickwalrus you are a dick breath. You have a pointless opinion. The closure of the OBX has caused not only a loss of recreational area but also extreme economic hardships for the peolpe that live and work there. Maybe you would have a different opinion if you were one of those affected.

1. The park service is hypocritical by driving in the exclusion zones (because they have to chase idiots like you out).
2. In order to save your precious birds EVERYONE should have access...

as a matter of fact the it may be (Cape)POINT less to everyone as they talk about making the whole area there a wildlife refuge in the future with no access by anyone including YOUR grandkids!!!
Will the kids get o use it? I encorage you to look at the data for the last 3 years from not only NPS but both the audobon society and the defenders of wildlife ( the platifs that sued to close off the park) All the data shows that the populatins actually decreased after the closures and increased in areas that remained open not only in bird population but the turtle population as well. Bottom line the closures are not working
