that one section at the beginning is just a chord B, it's obviously charted by sound where as in real life that sound comes from the way you strum the chord. This makes it alot easier to play on a real guitar than a fake one (although B minors are a goddamn bitch and it's only charted as a simple two note chord in this song)

My only guess is that it's charted to show the emphasis of the sounds. GH and RB aren't always accurate, they chart often for the challenge instead of how the song goes... which is part of the fun, I guess.

What? You don't? No wonder you fail so much. To alt-strum, you pinch the strum bar with two fingers and move it up and down by flicking your wrist. This allows you to strum twice as fast than if you just pushed it downwards repeatedly because moving it upwards counts like a strum too.

I didn't buy Behind Blue Eyes, so I wouldn't know about that. But I personally think that the second violin part sounds awful. Besides, you say that the guitar part makes it play better. If it's not too drastic, I could see the fun outwaying the change, but you don't play the violin. It can only make it sound different.
