I am getting a set as soon as I get my tax money back. Thanks bikeman. If I get a cog and lockring from you, can you put it on for me? No tools is my problem.
hey bikeman! i gotta question. is it ok to put 700c wheels on a frame that had 27s on it? will there be any problems other than the brakes not fitting correctly?
@ravemastermario ...! i gotta question. is it ok to put 700c wheels on a frame that had 27s on it? will there be any problems other than the brakes not fitting correctly?........Well if it helps i recently put a set of 700x22 rims with 700x35 tires on an old Raleigh 12 speed road bike that had 27x1 1/4" wheels and tires on it... your only going from 630 to 622 so in my case the brakes shoes only needed to be slid down in the caliper by half the difference... so 4mm.. IT WORKED OUT FINE FOR ME
can u make a fixie out of an old school mtb ? WITH THE FRAME THE SAME STYLE DROP OUTS AS THAT??? i really wana use this frame can u recomend me some cheap parts?
@1972paintballbeast you probably just need to change out your freewheel sprocket and change it to a cog. find the same amount of teeth so you dont really need to do much.
@SoloAsian22 you're a retard lmfao, i'm 20 and I would rather be 30 and play runescape instead of being a dumb ass and unable to use common sense. ROFL.
quick question. im riding single speed and have a front brake so i dont die basically. i might want a flip flop hub so i can ride fixed when i want or just coast. but if i get a flip flop i wanna take off my brake. so what im askin is . does the freewheel side have a back pedal brake? or does it just free wheel like a bmx?
I got the sane crank set ya
Richardzombiee 15 hours ago
Shouldn't you grease the hub threads, cog threads and the lock ring first before applying?

slayerfan1994 8 months ago

@seanmurray90 it freewheels. take off that brake & your dead
GoodOlLove 1 year ago
@seanmurray90 why would you ever ride a single speed bike with only a front brake? You should only be doing that if the back wheel is fixed.
lightbrightdarklight 1 year ago
@seanmurray90 nope freewheel side works jus like SS, no back pedal brake jus coasting
frozenearwax 1 year ago
@seanmurray90 its just a free wheel no back brake
