It took at least 5 hours and there were a million little parts! About a month after we put it together, my son stepped on one of the open ove doors and the wooden dowels started to crack through the thin wooden shelves. I was not pleased with this design flaw, but my husband would NOT return it because it took so much time to put together! It hasn't been a big issue, though. My son plays with this everyday. We make sure he and his little friends don't step on the open oven doors.
This is lovely and your Soren is very cute! I am getting the same kitchen for my son for Christmas and I can't wait to see his face light up. He will also be 16 months then. :)
