  • Every thing in this rotten world sucks today. I'm ready for the Lord Jesus Christ to come back and KICK ASS!

  • There are too many people that love this music to let it fall by the way side... Hang on to it and ask for it on mainstream radio....might not work, but it sure won't hurt....Call for Teea Goans, Tim Culpepper, 2 new artists doing the real stuff and beginning to get some play....call and ask....what can it hurt????

  • thats real music!

  • The guy's that call their self's country now are not This is real country music Thank's for posting real country music

  • I loved Paycheck, and Jones and Gosdin.. all of them.. dont have a clue what they are playing today and calling it country.. pop . thats all it is .. they dont even know what country is!

  • Great post!! Johnny was a brilliant writer, singer and played Bass, Steel guitar, Drums and more. Ihad the pleasure of being with Little Darlin Records in 1968, and 69. I met Johnny and we had a few chats, but never actually worked with him. Thanks for sharing this great song!!!---Lee

  • It,s a shame that Nashville doesn't make records like this anymore.

  • nashville isnt nashville anymore. not musically.

  • Johnny was a stepping stone for the rest of the other greats. They all learned from him in the late 50's and early '60's. Listen to Merlle and George Jones after listening to this vintage JP. He showed them way. truly. GREAT post.

  • its the other way around Jones & Haggard showed him the way. It was Jones that gaive him his start

  • johnny 's vocals durring the epic years were unmatched' go back and litsen to his addiction and clarity'' are you kidding me'' UNTOUCHABLE.

  • What a terrific song and such a terrific singer. Johnny's voice is so soulful and he is one of the best love song singers ever I feel. This song is pure country, just the way I love it, and it couldn't be done any better by anyone else. Thanks for posting this video by one of the greats. - Paula

  • Absolutely as good as any country singer who ever made a record or played a live date.

This is classic Johnny...before his "Outlaw" fame, when country was at it's peak, and Johnny was at the top of that peak, artistically.

  • I just love his delivery! The most underated singer in the world

  • Terrific song from a legendary performer.

    10 stars!!!
