I would love to find something other than 18 and school's out. Something off of the "From the Inside" would be good. Nurse Rozetta, Ballad of Dwight Fry, etc.
When I saw the name Barry Richards, I wondered if it was "The Boss with the Hot Sauce", a DC area DJ I couldn't stand! I'm searching on YouTube for the studio version of this, but I suspect that Warner has it blocked. The live ones are too funky for my tastes. This one is actually the closest to the studio version. It may even be lip-synched. But the sound is awful.
Does anyone know where there might be footage of the Milt Grant Show REUNION which took place in the mid 70's and Barry Richards hosted it. Lots of us showed up for this show dancing like we always did.
Barry Richards use to be disc jockey at WINX radio in Maryland. I thought his TV shows was called "Barry Richards Turn on" - maybe this was another show that came later (or earlier!). I particularly remember Alice Cooper performing "Black JuJu" and draping the drummer in a sheet and shooting video underneath - heavy graphics! (ha ha). So happy that some one put this on the internet and that they actually had the footage!
I am utterly blown away that any episodes of Barry Richards' local Washington, DC TV stuff survived. There is hope for the appearance of TV shows like Wing Ding yet!
You can now buy a DVD from Barry Richards himself that has this clip & Black JuJu in CRYSTAL CLEAR quality. It's awesome!

"I didn't see it on Youtube until other people hijacked my copy and made it look like their own upload....oh well."
There is a compliment in that action.
Your efforts are appreciated. Good posting. Thanks.

Wow, I remember watching this when it was on. Bad signal on UHF antenna but I've never forgot it, that's why I did the search. Thanks!

Thanks for posting this! I didn't know this existed. Does anybody know if they did any other songs or were they interviewed?
