the first time i heard this song i was in a club in new york. i saw a boy that was alone and he was a dream. he had the softest eyes and face and smile. his hair was long when long hair wasnt cool and the color of that blond i'll never forget. we locked eyes from across the dance floor but never approached eachother. on my way out of the club that night i locked eyes with him again, as he walked away with another boy. i was heartbroken. it was love seen felt and lost in a matter of hours.
