  • @MiqhtyChris it's not that funny..

  • Ok, Im just gunna go fight some dragons and shit with some elves and go bang some nordic alien babes. See ya im off creating my own reality.

  • thank you master

  • does master lu agree if i create the matrix as my reality?

  • this is partly true , but thinking it through, starving people who are deprived food and water didn't "choose" that, with the exception of the fact that we all have the capacity to intervene in other peoples realities, and therefore change it....i would agree in part with this

  • chang yo meyn

  • @chumbersdee AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

  • delusion

  • @criminalistic YOUR reality may in fact be a delusion!

The mentally ill is convinced his reality is real... So how do you know that yours is?

  • I like this guy

  • I.. Change.. my mind ... This is... shit.

  • No matter how much I wish or will, reality will not manifest a bag of pot on my desk. What he is talking about is bull change your expectations shit, it's still the same fucking reality.

  • @mg03nma You are just looking for instant gratification. There is truth to what this man is saying and it's not difficult to find.

  • Why should i chance my mind?

  • Really? Because I was a very happy child until other people fucked it up for me. If I was a happy person before, then how did reality reflect to me back people in my experience people who would take it away?

  • love this concept.

  • bollocks! The MIND is a product of the body. Not the other way around. The brain is part of the body, and it is affected by the whole body. What we perceive as "mind" emerges from the state of the whole body.

  • @Aprilshowersss wtf are you talking about, without the human mind the body cant do shit. Our mind controls everything.

  • @tripleleap How so? The "mind" is a by-product of brain activity (and the brain's interactions with the rest of the body). The "mind" is the end result, and so has no physical effect on anything. If you're equating the "brain" and the "mind", you're using the wrong terms to describe what you mean...if you aren't, than you're just plain wrong.

  • @AtheistInTheHat Without the mind the brain won't be anything either.

  • @tripleleap Not really a two sided street... the mind is generated by brain activity, it has no effect on that brain activity...

  • @AtheistInTheHat how can you prove that the mind has no effect on brain activity?

  • @tripleleap The entire fields of neurology and neurochemistry, much of chemistry and biology, and even parts of physics in general support the idea that the mind has no effect on the brain. If you want to present evidence that it even COULD have an effect (let alone actually DOES have one), I'd love to hear it, but re-affirming the legitimacy of huge portions of modern science would take much more than a youtube comment, and isn't really worth the time in my opinion.

  • @AtheistInTheHat Well then I guess all the great champions who advocated positive thinking are all morons. At the end of the day both claims by science and spirituality will only be theories. Believe what you want.

  • @tripleleap Morons? Nah (well probably some...). Positive thinking is all well and good...but believing that thinking positively will directly result in reality bending to the will of your thoughts in some way is pointless at best (since it doesn't) and destructive at worst (things like "The Secret", where thinking good thoughts takes precedence over actually doing things to improve your situation).

  • @AtheistInTheHat When positive thinking combined with positive action, it creates great results. We can both agree on that???

  • @tripleleap Sure, much like thinking about baking cookies, and actually baking cookies result in having cookies... The trouble only begins when people believe that just thinking about something will get results. They sorta go together (since making cookies without thinking about it would be tricky at best), but the positive thinking on it's own does nothing, other than maybe making you feel better about the problem without actually helping to find a solution.

  • totally bollocks - damn hippy

  • I had a big court case a few years ago when I was being accused of robbing a local post office. There was a huge amount of evidence against me and everyone was telling me I was going to jail. Then every night for two months before the court appearence, I spent an hour imagining that I wasn't going to jail. I pictured myself in court, pleading innocent and walking free. I smelt it, felt it and breathed in. Then on the day of court I walked in, and they sent me down for 4 years. Bastards.

  • @kennethtucky1955 You are a light..haha.

  • @kennethtucky1955

There's a difference between "creating your own reality" and "literally changing reality". This is all about the perception of one's own situation, which don't get me wrong is important. By perceiving in your mind that things are hopeless, they become hopeless. On the other hand, perceiving yourself to be in a situation where you can work things out, you will always find a path to walk. Just "seeing" what you want it to happen doesn't mean anything on its own.

  • @TheLvll1Gamer Agreed, but I was referring more to positive affirmations and the law of attraction rather than just simply positive thinking.

  • Ye he said a lot , but what the hell have this guy done ? he has QI ?

  • Did he say buy Prada? Wow!

  • Oh my god I just created youtube.

  • good speach

  • Thoughts can't change anything, unless they are in the form of images. Observation is manifestation, because we observe images. The images (and emotions we associate with them) held on our conscious awareness most frequently become reality. Our daydreams are the code for our future. Please, understand this most elemental law. The field doesn't understand our words and concepts, unless we express them in mental images. Edit your daydreams by circling and X-ing your negative images.

  • Thank you Master Lu,have a great week,peace and love to you :) *****

  • Thanks for all of the comments. Check out Master Lu's direct response to @singhsupremacy's question, just posted on his blog askdrlu.com/2010/12/09/are-there-limits-to-creating-your-own-reality/

  • Creating your own reality is about values. When we think about things like poverty or teachers we think about them through cultural eyes more than our own. creating your own reality is about self empowerment. How do you feel about teachers based on your experience, not the cultures eyes. In doing this you create your own hierarchy's in your world. Where the majority will value you something but you will value your own interpretations. To create your own reality is to be yourself authentically.

  • "You creat your own reality" thn...

what is the truth? it is just all in our minds?

  • @fidana85

    Yes it is.

  • A very simple fact to unterstand. But so hard to practise in dayly life. I guess knowing about such simple rules is by far not enough. It takes time to learn them, think about them, and eventually understand them. Then it's about practise in every situation in daly live. It's extremely difficult, however that's what life is about.

  • short and sweet!

  • I completely agree. you can see my video too.

  • one could desire to become taller with no outside idea generating that thought ..it is not true that all humans on earth who would desire to be taller would have gained such an idea from outside themselves...such could be internal...

  • VERY GOOD!!!

  • health and happiness are very important, but you forgot to mention money!

  • Respectfully speaking, I think your hitting on the surface...

  • The book "Joshiah Conscious Creation" channeled by Bub Hill says this.

  • you really do create your own reality. think about this, if your living in suffering(lets say your living in guilt or are regretting doing something in the past or are worrying about the future) and you really don't want to feel that, well the only reason that you are feeling that is because you are creating thoughts that say that(regret,guillt,worry,ect.). and you can be do or have anything that you want.

  • This is a short but great video.

  • this is another way of explaining the universal law of attraction

  • @youwangstertube No its not.

  • IS there a limitation to this? Suppose i think of myself as 4 inches taller than i really am then would i become taller?

  • i believe you would perceive yourself as being 4 inches taller. haven't you ever taken drugs, or heard of alice in wonderland? eat one side of the mushroom and it will make you tall, eat the other side it will make you small. most, if not all, of our universe is based solely on individual perception. let me know what you think

  • No I don't take drugs nor i am aware of alice in wonderland ,mushroom thing

  • no you would not become taller. The idea is that if you created your own reality in the correct way, you would realize your desire to become taller is based in other ideas, not your own. Therefore if you changed your mind, you would realize there is no reason to become taller at all.

  • @WithConfidence Not really, some people want to become taller for themselves. And for other reasons. And you can, if matter isn't as solid as we think it is.

  • @WithConfidence the only reason I'm watching these video's is because yesterday I realized while watching a bird outside my window that the 'individual' perception of the moment 'now' happens at places in a kind of spacetime-thought field where thought and spacetime are maximally integrated at a given moment (a.k.a. the collapse of the wavefunction happens at these points, the integration is the observation). Thoughts are thus the glue of spacetime, and extentions of it as hyper-stimuli...

  • @WithConfidence What if I want to fly? Can I fly if I believe hard enough, or am I just a slave to society's imposed desire to fly?

  • @WithConfidence But when you change your mind into that state, you realize that you need nothing other than what you have. So then, lets say you want to create wealth, not to be rich, but just to have enough to do the things you would like to do. Can you create this by changing your mind? How then is this possible?

  • I think other people will see you as if you are 4 inches taller ;)

  • yes. anything that you focus on and you put all of your energy to you will achieve. i did this exact thing and now im 6'6!

  • Lol, yes there are obvious limitations bro.

What he means, is if you think about being fitter, those thoughts will happen more often, causing you to maybe do something about it. Or at least be more likely to. Or in your case, maybe cause you to buy shoes with 4 inch thick soles lol.

  • Excellently put, keep doing what u do!
