look up "rods" or "sky fish" this is an insect that is unknown by science as it moves so fast the naked eye can barely see it, the sky fish have been caught on camera and freeze framed, thier wings look and function exactly like this invention.

Rather, speaking from an artists perspective, it usually takes a leap of faith of sorts for a person to "make" time to devote to such inspired projects. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to find that Mr. Jansen has ample sponsorship and funding to carry on his work, however I am sure at some point, His time and money came at the sacrafice of other things. A price that is paid by those who pursue their dreams I suppose you could say.
