  • This was an amazing video. Thanks for posting it up.

  • That first shot was impressive.

  • cool!

  • 1992 dramatical moment, wonderfull

  • I remember being home 'studying" during the Sydney Olympics, and watching Simon Fairweather win that gold medal. What a moment for an Aussie fan, one of my favourite from those games

  • why do they tip the bow forward after they release the arrow?

  • @manx1324

i beleive if they dont they have to hold it back and that can cause the arrow's path to be slightly altered

    ..not sure though.

  • @manx1324 You don't squeeze the handle of your bow to hold it as the motion of forming a fist rotates the bow sideways. You simply let the tension of the drawn string press the bow into the V of your thumb and index finger. Thus, when you release the string and the tension holding it in place, the bow rolls forward in the hand and the arrow flies true.

  • how many lbs of power those bows have?

  • @freitasnetuno the men are at about 50 and the women are about 35 lbs on average

  • @thelarkin101 Thanks I've always been interested about the actual poundage of competition archers, I figured it would be about 45lb for men :-)

  • @Mububban23 yeahhhh no problem and im guessing that it can be what ever you are comfortable with

  • good job KOREA

  • wud be funny if at the start the archer missed
