Finally got a remote and downloaded a ROM to play this game. Record so far on the computer is level 46 which is 2 short of every level twice. Ive noticed a lot of my problems are not remembering which board I am on when the cars are super fast and I screw up and wreck once and they all pass me. Once those cars reach super speed you have no margin for error or its game over lol

I was able to do it sometimes. I would either keep blowing him up or on a few of those boards thered be oil and hed run into it and smash himself against the wall 3 or 4 times a lap and I could catch him and beat him that way lol

once you reached level 28, all the cars go very fast. They go 127 mph, you can only go as fast as 103 mph. The only way to stay with them is the fast strips on the road. Always use the missiles, the back bombs suck ass.

I could never beat track 24, they always got too far ahead of me, and with no turbo boosts, oil pits, or weapons to pick up, if you fall behind you're pretty much doomed unless you can get in close enough range to shoot some rockets, which for me, never happened : (

@001GenLee After a certain level you have to keep destroying the cars. I was awesome with those missiles. I started playing this online again a few weeks ago and I can barely get past level 30. I swear that its using the keyboard and that if I had a remote control I could probably get way further. I think I got to level 128 one time. Seems to stick out as my record. That was over 17 years ago. Although I might have went further than that.

I really thought I'd be the only one not being able to finish this game as a kid. Got to stage 40 - that's almost okay, but afterwards it's really hard as hell, especially in higher stages it's simply kinda impossible to win. I really hate that orange car... it always got a turboboost when it was "out" (the lamest car in game). Freaking annoying and impossible to win!

I had my NES on christmass of 1989 with Blaster Master game, and then a few months later I had RC PROAM my 9th game(yes I have a good memory) and it was my favorite game. I used to be very good in those days and become some kind of expert at 11 years old (1995)

But there is a video in youtube of some guy that made it to level 100, dont know if it was cheated, but its cool made to that level

Oh and level 21 was my favorite, because its fast, 6 laps, so much oil that causes that the others minicars crash in the edges and you can take a loop on them like 2 times

Yeab basically after the first 23 laps it gets a lot harder....lol all 3 cars get to where they're easily about 15 mph faster than u...when u get that far u have to be good with the missiles or u won't last long..it's fun tho

I used to get so mad at this game. I read that people got to level 200 and still no end to it (by use of Game Genie).* If only I knew that truth back then...

There is none, lol. It's like playing a really old arcade game. If I kept playing the AI gets up to 127 MPH in the next few tracks and you have to constantly hold them back. Think Mario Kart except they always cheat rather than only if you are first.
