check out UN Resolution 2222. You'll see how decisions like this are allowed to be made. It details what would happen if any single country or organization opposes a mission like this one. It also states that the benefit of any findings shall be for all mankind. But I do agree that that last part will be difficult in the current economic structure with or without the resolution.

check out UN Resolution 2222. You'll see how decisions like this are allowed to be made. It details what would happen if any single country or organization opposes a mission like this one. It also states that the benefit of any findings shall be for all mankind. But I do agree that that last part will be difficult in the current economic structure with or without the resolution.

1. the mission measures the exact water content per square centimeter.
2. the objects weigh less than 2 tons.
3. The objects were moving at less than 4000 miles an hour.
That kind of mass and velocity will do nothing to disrupt the orbit of the moon. Besides, it gets hit by bigger naturally occurring objects at least 3 times a month. Hope this clears up a few things for ya.

Thanks. Regardless of my political leanings, it's hard to take some of the ill informed folks on these videos desperately looking for attention by passing on poor research and various untruths. There are people in the US and other countries that are convinced man never walked on the moon. Despite the clear evidence of the landings. A well researched accounting of events have given way to vitriolic rants full of hyperbole and lies. Finding and sharing the truth has lost to propaganda and fear.

Secondly, there are no explosives involved in the impact portion of this mission. Comparing this to the Trade Centers is hyperbole at best and shows a lack of imagination on your part. This is a logical first step in the further exploration of the moon and our solar system. Finding water is key. This is like dropping a car from a plane into a frozen lake. There will be debris ejected from impact, but no weapons explosions. A better question would be what dipshit researched this story for you?

Are you retarded? There are no explosives on the rocket. The moon is constantly bombarded by space debris, some of which are clearly on a greater scale than a school bus sized rocket.
Beneath the surface of the moon may be water, which would have colossal scientific implications. You should already know this. I won't go into it.
Then again, if you follow Glen Beck you're clearly an idiot. So this doesn't surprise me.

The reason they are bombing the moon is that there are alien ships docked on that crater and that is their target. They already know that there is tons of water on the moon. O.K. This is very old news, but they did launch a rocket sending the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (A.K.A. LRO) to survey the moon for the future moon missions. This orbiter is also the LCROSS; YouTube SEARCH any of these names. NASA's YT channel and website has all the information.They-R looking to see if the WATER is ice, or liquid & ice.
