Frobisher had one of the best character developments, and you just believe the character, when he's told hid daughters are going to be given to the 456 you really feel what he does. One of Peter Capaldi's best roles
PC was easily the best thing about Torchwood: CoE, his performance was brilliant, right up until his character's heart-stopping conclusion. He's such a brilliant actor and has only gotten better as the years pass. Excited to see what the future holds for Peter :)
Such a tragic character... so sad "he kept working" until his own demise, and his family's. I wish he didn't die so he could have gone on in the series, which I believe will continue. Great job!
This is the first series/movie where i've seen Capaldi (well, I found out that he was in DL which I had seen as well, but I didn't recognize him) and loved him!
Is it just me (being a non-native), or Peter sounds quite English in COE? (considering he speaks his Scottish accent in every other role).
Being Norwegian, I'm not much of an expert myself, but I'm pretty sure he put on an English accent for this one, though you can hear a few rolling r's inbetween.
@Bferner True, but not uncommon in English, the thrilled r I mean. Jeremy Brett uses it in Holmes occasionally (spoken by an English language graduate from Serbia, if that counts :))
I'd totally fall for his accent and say he's English if I hadn't found out :D
