  • is that a jukar rifle

  • His nose is a big as the damn gun.

  • I agree ,black powder muskets/rifles are fun as hell ta shoot.I have a 69 caliber smoothbore springfield musket. fun ta shoot roundball or buckshot, lol.Just that accuracy is non existent, lol.

  • I have a Thompson Center Cherokee 32/45 interchangeable barrels. I like the 45 the best!

  • Nutnfancy has a LOT of informative videos, IF you can sit through, a LOT of talk before you get to the gist of the info and the fact the he refers to himself in the third person. But othewise, pretty good. Just don't have the patience to wade through the superflous before the meat.

  • @cliffcox66 easier to just get the info where he gets his info for the videos....wiki

  • the only thing he could do to make this video better if he squatted on the rifle.

  • What is it and where did u get it?

  • how acurate is that antique. like at 50 yards.

  • cut your hair you look like a girl o.O

  • Hey Dude , I shoot a .50 cal Traditions with round balls .490 and a .015 patch. I shoot 65 grains of pyrodex FF powder. I didn't have a powder measurer either so I made one from a deer antler . I had an adjustable pistol measure for so I mearured 65 grains and kept drilling out the antler with a 3/8 inch bit until th 65 grains fit level with the top. Works great and looks authentic. Also helps with accuracy and consistant groups. Keep the vids coming bro. I'll keep watchin' !

  • I just inherited that same gun and will probably try it for deers season.

  • if your going to complain about ur hair then cut off

  • Beautiful rifle

  • Your full of shit

  • @LRooster4Prez your mums full of shit

  • bp rifles were not designed for thick barrels. they were actually very thin and lightweight, and longer so they can take the pressures and velocities better. with a bigger bore, the pressures are smaller, than in small bores. bp rifles have thick barrels these days because of safety purposes the feds put on it

  • Nutlickinfancydan is an arrogant shit - this guy is jes a damn happy hippie with a new toy - LMAO!!!

  • Nutnfancy has some of the best gun/knife reviews on youtube! I find him rather informative and on top of his game, unlike you my friend. How could you not measure the powder for your gun. First and foremost this ls a really unsafe thing to do! Secondly, if you want to have consistent shot placement you need to know how much powder your using! I suggest you watch more nutnfancy videos and try to be more like him! You'll never master the smoke pole with such a lack of knowledge!

  • @Tegulicious lol that week end warrior is boring as...well...Can't really think of anything more boring at the moment...actually ya I can,he's boring as the Jonah Hex movie...maybe not that boring but still the same ball park.

  • @FabioCrow07770 nah man, he's way more boring than Jonah Hex, lol

  • @itachi1303 true,at least the hex movie was watchable somewhat

  • OK. I have to say that the thing about you not measuring powder does make you pretty non-credible. For safety and accuracy you always measure powder. You can still blow up a barrel on a BP rifle. The amount you showed you use is about 100 grains or so. All you are doing is wasting it when it blows unburnt out the end of the barrel. In my opinion as a 25 year shooter of black powder weapons, you shouldnt be allowed near one....EVER!

  • @FrozenEMT didn't have a measure years ago, bought one two months ago for my revolver

  • Your a Fucking Moron,,Thanks for miss informing any one who watched all your bullshit!

  • Smoke Much???

  • @darryl360 sounds like this dude smokes alright.. His smoke is green..

Talks lots but not much info..

  • Smoke Much?

  • Fajne robisz te przeglady, ale zachecac ludzi do nieodmierzania prochu to juz chyba przegecie. Pomijac bezpieczenstwo, nie odmierzanie prochu bedzie rzutowalo na celnosc.

  • That, is magic, my friend. Nothing better than a good black powder rifle around the house.

  • i just love the classy look

  • @FabioCrow07770

    Same here.

  • This guys the man.

  • i would like to see a vid of you shooting that beast

  • will when I can

  • I thought you were going to take that thing in the shower with you for a second

  • Had to delete a few posts. Muzzle loaders are awesome.

  • another bathroom review

  • Comment removed

  • was this actually a review? seems like he just is talking about random shit in his bathroom for 10 minutes....

  • Lol welcome to my rambling incoherent "gun reviews" =P

  • Horrible review, not informative at all, just call it a home video of u and your gun!

  • That's a Kentucky black powder percussion cap rifle. My dad has one of those in .50 caliber. It's for CIvil War reenacting.

  • Pls get a haircut ! Nice gun .

  • he doesn't have to if he doesn't wanna xD

  • dude i love that rifle it is so fucking awsome haha i want one so bad that would be so cool thanks for posting this video man

  • A shooting vid. with your black powder guns PLEASE...

    LOL.

  • true dat on nutnfancy

  • can u make a video of u packing your blackpowder with metal bb's and shooting it?

  • Soon as I can =)

  • plus you should measure so your shots are more consistant and more accurate. and just a guess wouldnt the stuff the bewtween the powder and the ball be called watting?

  • Wadding yep.

  • the is like a percussion cap rifle right? my dad uses an old black powder musket with the flint striking the steel or wat ever then lighting the powder in the tray. its a .54 cal. he shot one deer from 100 yards. suprisingly a heart shot

  • Hi I need help loading, I will be loading .410 black powder shells by my uncles request, they are 3" shells and the slugs weigh 7.5 grams. How mutch powder should I put in for a good strong load?

  • .440 shot is used in a .450 caliber rifle with a .015 patch. The interference makes it form to the rifling for more accuracy and acts as a gas seal to put more energy to the ball.

Fabio, I couldn't catch what make you had?

  • i HATE nutnfancy too, he talks way to god damn much and his videos are boring as hell

  • 2.47 its a flip

  • actually, it's quite easy.

  • how straight do they fire?

because id imagine the ball would act like a marble and pick up turbulence and could be effected by the wind.

  • Well The inside of the barrel is rifled So It will go pretty straight. Not as straight as a modern rifle but not bad

  • how old are you?

  • 25and a half lol

  • the fuck kind of question is that? just go to his page you stupid moron

  • send me a vid link if u make a vid shooting it and if u go to cheaper than dirt they have a traditons tracker 209 with a complet starter kit 199.00 bucks and good products

  • Thank you for not showing an inline. Im sick to death of seeing cheap garbage black powder wanna be guns.

  • lol never Heard Of Inline

  • Inlines are black powder rifles that are made to look like a modern rifle. They appear to be bolt action, but the bolt just holds the percussion cap.

Personally I prefer the old traditionals. :)

I had an obnoxious ass next to me at the range about a month ago, teasing me for using cap, ball and black powder. I just started doubling my charges till my clouds of smoke made him leave....lol

Great vids man, keep up the good work!

  • Inline black powder rifles are modern versions designed for hunting. The hunting season is longer for BP rifles, so a modest market has developed for the most modern, easy to use BP rifles. The Inline rifles have a plug that unscrews at the back end of the barrel so you can see straight through the barrel for ease of cleaning, etc. Thus, they are referred as "Inline" muzzle loaders.

  • where do you buy your guns from?

  • all over. I Got my last two from ace hardware.

  • Hey, Fabs, you ever going to do a video of shooting the BP rifle?

Something odd I was thinking of while rewatching this vid... .45 cal BP rifles are supposed to use .440 balls, while .44 cal BP revolvers are supposed to use either .451 or .454 balls. The patches fill in the extra space on the rifles, while the ball gets shaved (that sounds bad) down to a smaller size when rammed into the chamber of the revolver.

  • I'll shoot it soon as I can...I shot my .303 in my back yard last night at a Tomato can from like 20 yards away,Only had time to fire one shot,I Hit the can but I Hit the upper ridge of it

  • thxs for your repley!I load my oun shotgun shells.I heard you can convert the (caps) to cci 209 primers is which iI use.Whats your thoughts on makin your oun round ball or even a saboth.1 more, manaintanceand and break down.what do you need as far as oils etc thxs for all your help

  • making your own balls and sabots it a great way to save money and really get even more into the sport.

Hot soapy water works very well for cleaning these block powder firearms. after you clean it with the hot soapy water dry it out and put a light coat of oil on to protect it.

  • your an idiot. your reviews have a "few" tidbits of info that may be deemed useful for someone who does not own a gun. you have no thought for safety. you totally contradict yourself. the only useful info on this video is "i'm a retard"

  • Great vids, lots of info.Got 1 for you.just got an cva hawken gamester 54 cal.

that shot you are useing will that work?

any good ideas on powerder etc ...thxs for any ideas

  • If they're all you have and want to shoot, they'd work just fine. If I were You,I'd go but some nice .54 cal sabots for your rifle,Would be a lot more accurate.

As for Powder,I'd Use FG black powder...maybe FFg Black powder (Or Pyrodex)

FG is for large cal rifles and small cannons,FFG is for medium size rifles and muskets,FFFG AND FFFFG are for the smaller revolvers and rifles.

    I Love black powder guns!

  • balls

  • I have a .45 cal Thompson Cherokee and it also came with a .32 barrel. I like like the .32 for small game, but love the .45 for general shooting. Good post!

  • Black powder is fun to shoot

  • Hey Fabio, I just got an inline BP rifle, I know you can use smaller balls in the big octagon barrels without them cracking but do you think its good to put 44 cal balls in a 50 cal inline, I know an octagon barrel would handle any bouncing around but what about round barrel rifles.

  • Well If It was My rifle I'd Either go out and buy the proper size bullet or ball for the rifle,or I'd Wrap the ball in a patch and make it fit snugly in the bore.

  • thats what I do with my octagon barrel crocket pistol, I use 22 bullet heads and cut up old t shirts to make bigger patched and it shoots fine and fits fie made, I know they will fit snug but I'm sure they can probly bounce off the barrel a litte on the way out but those octo barrel are made thicker, have you tryed smaller balls in a modern day BP rifle?

  • I Haven't shot any of the Newer BP rifles.

  • That's a sweet rifle.

I have a 45 cal. Pedersoli flintlock, that looks a lot like your rifle, but the lock spring broke.

I should make a new spring I guess.

I took my 45-110 Shiloh Sharps rifle to the range the other day.

    I got a 1" group with it @ 100 yards with 108 grains of powder behind a 540 bullet I cast.

That's not bad for the first shooting session, plus the fact that I'm rustier than Hell, and haven't shot a Sharps in 2 years.

My shoulder kept reminding me of that for about 2 days.

  • they kick pretty good, fun to shoot though =)

  • Hey Fabio, good to see your video. I do have some advice, probably not the kind you've been getting. First, you should measure. Not because you'll hurt yourself or anyone else, but because you'll get more accuracy on a lighter load of powder. I know powder measures are a pain in the ass which is why I don't use one either. I bought some small cheap plastic vials on ebay and marked a 50-grain spot on their side with my dremel. I just fill the vials before i go to the range and loading is easy.

  • Second, using .440 balls is perfect for your gun. .45 cal rifles are supposed to use .440 BUT, your patches should be cloth patches that cover the ball before you ram it in. Not just to protect your powder, but to engage the rifling to your ball and to provide more pressure so you have more power on less powder and much higher accuracy.

Third, have you tried using Triple 7 instead of BP or Pyrodex? More punch, MUCH EASIER TO CLEAN. Cleaning my Hawken is a snap since I started using Triple 7.

  • P.S. - If you don't want to buy a powder measure, the next time you're at the range find a .38 cal or .357 bullet casing. That's roughly 35 grains worth of volume in BP, more or less. Fill that twice with black powder and empty it into your rifle and that's all the charge you should need to get some decent shots.

  • this is shit, i'm soo bored

  • ok lol

  • That's the blackpowder rifle I really want, the Traditions Kentucky Rifle.

I know you haven't had enough snarkdorks bitch about what you're doing on ye olde youtube, but going by what you indicated by the ram rod measurment, you're using a crazy insano super ultra nutzoid tripple charge of powder. I think the slightly undersize ball is what's keeping you from having a blown barrel. I'll give you five bucks if you use a powder measure, proper charge, and correct patch.

  • Lol I'll get a measure someday =P

  • If you get a measure soon, I'll make a donation to the charity of your choice!

Where'd you get that awesome rifle? I've never found one in 45, just 50. I was about to buy one a few months ago, but I ended up getting a Remington Genesis instead.

  • I Got this one on a trade but I Know they sell them at cabelas (dot) com

I Don't plan on shooting it for a long time anyways

  • Nice Gun!

  • he needs to spend time with someone who really knows what they are doing before he hurts himself or others.

  • that's what she said

  • i love the classic guns.

  • they're awesome

  • haha nutnfancy. I wish he would stop making 20 minute videos to review one gun. Fabio crow does a better job because they're short (well at least less than 10 min) and they're funny

  • Lol I Try to entertain =P

  • Hey Fabio, I fired an air soft bb out of my 32 caliber crockett pistol with 15 grains of powder and put it through a can and it stuck in the door, I was bored and wanted to take a shot that wasnt loud enough to get the cops called since I live in city limits, I cut a big wad out of an old T-shirt to make the air soft bb fit, I can also shoot 22 cabiler bullet heads or pellets too if I use bigger wads, I feel you on using smaller balls, they slide down easier.

  • Ya,the smaller bullets are just easier to shoot and work just as well as the bigger ones when packed properly

  • Cool rifle.

I love the smell of black powder.

I have 3 Shiloh Sharps rifles.

    A 40-90 a 45-90 and a 45-110.

I shot a Buffalo through the heart with the 45-90 a few years back, and it was dead before it hit the ground.

The bullet went clear through it and made a 2" exit hole.

The heavy lead bullets these things shoot will penetrate almost any critter you shoot.

My most recent Sharps was the 45-110.

It cost $5000, and is a friken work of art.

I'm hoping to take an Elk with it next year.

  • They're fun to shoot =)

  • Damned accurate too.

  • I am going to a video with my 54 TC renegade.

  • coolness

  • Is this a replica? Who makes it?

  • Connecticut Valley Arms Inc. makes this Black powder rifle. It's an actually shooter....might be a replica of an older one but It's made to shoot. I Didn't buy this,I Got it on a trade so I don't have all the info.

  • Ah, a CVA. I prefer Thompson-Center myself. Nice rifle, though. I don't know what you traded for it, but it looks like you got a great deal!

  • I Traded two pure breed dogs for this rifle plus 2 .303 rifles a 12 gage and a little black powder pistol

  • after a few measures a long time ago, I don't anymore either

    :)

    still have all my fingers

  • it's pretty easy to load =)

  • dont take me the wrong way i just trying to let u know what that black thing was called and what it was used for ok so please dont get mad at me and by the way ur gun reviews r pretty good i like them i dont know everything about guns but there r alot i do know so if u need to know anything ask me i will be glad to help out well thats all take care man

  • Where can i buy this beautiful Weapon? Is it expensive? And it

  • sorry for 2nd com i would say

And It possible to find it in Europe or its only for USA? Thanks

  • Well The cool thing about Black powder guns and rifles is that they're not really considered real guns....weird huh?. anyways,You can order them online and have them shipped right to your house,no paper work.

  • Yes in France you cant buy a weapon look like a 22lr carabine but you can buy a 44. black powder Revolver... That funny...

The price of this type of gun is expensive? Thanks for your reponses :)

  • Type of Rifle sorry :) (my english suck)

  • For something like this your going to spend like $600 or so. there are some cheaper ones out there, about $300 I Think the lowest.

Very Nice rifle to have though =)

  • That cool for the decoration, for a novice look like me that hard to shoot whith powder and i dont want to loose my hand ^^

  • It's actually a lot easier than it seems. It's almost impossible to mess up

  • No.... what you have there is a cheap CVA two piece stock "KIT" gun. They cost about $150.00 tops.

  • .....midgets smell like cabbage....that is all...

  • Would be cool if you did a video of your whole collection, if you haven't already. Would be awesome to see all your guns at once.

  • I Might just do that =D

  • yeah that would kick arse!

  • thats a nice rifle. Keep the reviews coming.

  • I'm beginning to get jealous... crap, I hate to be a damn poor student.

Seriously, black-powder rifles look simply stunning and have such enthralling character. A massive barrel, whole lot of wood in the construction and all the smoke when firing... nice. Actually I think black-powder smells much better than modern smokeless. Definitely great in a weapon collection. :-)

  • FAbio crow says FUCK shut up you self absorbed Fuck

YOU now you should meshure your shit babys will die puppys will be throun of clifs

DUDE YOU SHIT IS THAT HEAVEY

  • Aw, come on, just because you're too lazy to wear your hair long it doesn't mean everyone who does is a hippie. :-p

How about arriving in the 21st century soon?

  • hey hippy you think uh..we could uh..start a NON fan club for for..uh..people who don't..uhh..like NotSoFancy..NutnUpThere..?

    Let me know hippy..?

  • Talk to "Fatguywitha45" he hates that guy lol =P. would be coolness

  • If the world ever ends, you will be glad you have that rifle, because most of the reloading materials are found in the environment.

  • it looks a little like the gun in Jeremiah Johnson

  • he probably used one like this his might have been a flint lock but same design =)

  • Jeremiah's was a Hawken Rifle. Slightly different design, shorter barrel, heavier caliber, meant to be carried on horseback, in the brush but powerful enough to take out grizzlies and bison. My favorite gun in my collection is my T/C Hawken .50 cal.

  • Hey, ran into your vids today, awesome stuff. Just wanted to toss a little something at you about the muzzleloader. When you have failure to fire, you can use this thing called an EC Unloader (Yes, EC, not EZ). You remove the nipple from the rifle, dump out the powder, replace the nipple, and use the EC Unloader to shoot the patch and ball out using CO2.

  • sounds pretty cool but kind of a hassle

  • I always removed the powder for safety before using the ball puller anyhow, so for me it made it easier.

  • if you want to sell that get a hold of me

  • very funny video lol

    and very cool gun

  • i dont know a lot about guns like you do however i do know your gun weighs about 6.5 to 7.5 lbs and your gun is awsome and i have shot a gun like that four times and once i was hlding it worng and i almost borke my collar but it is a great gun hella fun i cant wait to get my own so glad to hear your dad is okay later bud

  • Thanks! =)

Ya I Love This gun =D

  • cool abt your dad!

and all i think when u talk abt guns is...jesus your hot!

  • Great vid!! at least youre no saying ya suck at reviews anymore! That gun is beast! anyway in all i wanted you ask you why you say click the add? I mean i love the videos you post put that add stuff just keeps coming in the video and in (more info) !! WHY!?

  • Thanks! =D

I'm a youtube partner and I get a few cents each time someone clicks on the ads...They don't have to buy anything,Just clicking helps. Usually the ads are just on the side and not in the video but seems like that changed.

sorry if the ads are a little annoying sometimes =P. You can always x out of the ad and it should go off the screen.

I'm getting a new HD cam soon so my Videos Will be a lot better =D

  • Traditions rifle...They are ok...Get yourself a flintlock smoothbore "brown bess or charleville" you will enjoy those aswell.

    Cheers!

  • Might just do that someday =)

  • beautiful rifle

  • Ya,I Love It! I Have this one hanging on my wall =)

  • Ok so i'm not a gun enthusiast like yourself but you're so damn adorable when you talk about guns so the powder ain't the only thing moist lmao

  • You must not get any pussy all you do is talk about guns.... get a life and maybe a girl....

  • That's very nice of you to show concern about my social life =D

  • so which gun is your favorite to stick up ur ass..... maybe the .357 magnum??? hahah d:p

  • nope the cutlass is the best for that =P

  • Pre-lubed black powder rifle BULLETS.

280+ grain, soft lead, skirted base.

    No need for wads.

    BOOM!!!

Pulling a ball/bullet is no big deal

Screw that screw into the ball/bullet till you hear/feel 6he powder crunch then pull it right out. _ploonk_!

    btw

It's almost impossible to overload a BP rifle or shotgun.

Just DON'T leave an air space between powder and ball/shot

    <
