It will take more space than I have here so I will try to give you a quick explaination.
Crystals have different frequencies or energy vibrations and these vibrations react with different areas of the body that are on the same frequency. The vibration or energy help to bring both the crystal and the organ or area of the body into alignment and bring about a feeling of health and harmony. There really is a lot more to it than that and this is a very simplistic explaination about the process.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
By frequencies it means that the crystals have healing properties and vibrations that cannot be seen by the human eye and may be seen while meditating. The crystal is the Universe's words.- in other words the Universe uses crystals as a way of communicating to humans.
"Crystal energy" is a made-up theory used by some people to try and "heal" certain things about their bodies despite it being proven to have no effect at all over and over again under rigorous double-blind, scientific testing.
That's what I am thinking...in all my life, I have never heard of a single credible source that could define "crystal energy". If "crystal energy" cannot be explained concisely then I'm afraid that I can't admit that its really being explained to me at all...I'm really just being fed a distracted swerve designed to keep me from knowing the truth...crystal healing is a scam.
How is this information pertinent? They use copper in electrical wiring, diamonds in heavy industry, and gold in people's teeth...none of these things do their "job" because of magical or mysterious properties that are obscure...they are used because of scientifically verified chemical properties that render them useful for certain tasks...such as conducting electricity. You seem to be saying that my computer operates on "crystal magic" and that is absurd. I wonder, why not copper magic also?
i learned crystal lore and came to the great wisdom when i was only 14, and since then it has taken me far and close (both helped me know the other as well as look deep inside - they say the answers to your questions are inside the body, and i would know more than anything that this is a truth) to heal my flesh, mind and love
thank you, and to that pool of negativity? consider yourself lucky that rage-from-within would shatter-weaken the gem crux that is keeping me alive, happy and in love.
What a joke. This woman is a charlatan, out to make money from people who are desperate. Its so obvious any benefits would be placebo effect and thats all. Some crystals contain elecromagnetic properties causing them to vibrait, but its not a healing tool.
The closed minded nature of people never ceases to amaze me. Alternative medicines and therapies are alternative because they are scientifically proven to have no effect beyond that of a placebo. And these people have the nerve to call people who investigate both sides of the argument and learn the facts "closed minded". This is hypocrisy of the highest order.
While I don't have a "grid," I do have a crystal healing "matrix." I am also a Reiki Master, and frankly, my crystal matrix supports and expands my sessions quite well, and effortlessly. I am a testament to the power of crystal healing, so do not let the "rational" people dissuade you. Experience proves the better teacher in all situations.

the purest of comedy indeed!!... although I have to admit, I like searching for and watching videos like these (alt healing, crystal magic, and the like). I enjoy the tingly sensation that overwhelms me whilst watching something based in such nonsensical whishy-washy fairy-landed logiclessness.
Hi LaurieJames,The only negative effect that I have ever had is when people take a couple of steps back when you tell them what you do.There are some cautions to note crystals like Magnetic Hematite if someone has a pacemaker it is not wise for them to handle or go near Magnetic Hematite. Some crystals can be toxic, like sulphur. You can find a lot of free information about crystals, on my site
Other than being a BS "quack" practitioner of pseudo-medicine?... Oh wait... excuse me for my rudeness... I meant to say "alternative healing practitioner". Oho!
Its funny....the more I go through life the more and more life is teaching me that people truely believe what they want to. If you really believe that alternative healing is BS thats up to you. Not everyone pre-sets themselves with bullshit limitations. crystal healing is known for its results.
To be honest with you, I used to believe in all manner of spiritual things and "energies" and alternative healing methods when I was young. The more I've read into the scientific critique of these things though, I notice what a placebo this all is. It might make people feel good by power of suggestion but that's all.
Take for example James Randi's tests of crystal/aura healers. None of them were able to pass what should have been a simple test. If these supposed "energies" work as crystal healing says they should, it should be easy to test them in a scientific manner. Spiritualists always insist that these things are "untestable" by science but it sounds more like someone weaseling out of it to me.
Everything is testable and falls under the jurisdiction of science. Sorry to break it to everyone... but we live in a REAL world with REAL energy and that's all testable and verifyable... unlike this imaginary "crystal energy" and "spiritual healing" stuff with comes off more like fairy-tale feel-good imagination than anything else.
Yes, the world is "real" although as humans we may not be the best equipped to perceiving all it's realities. That is what science is all about, looking beyond our limited senses and exploring the universe in a legitimate and testable manner. Science is often discovering and uncovering new things but those truths tend to be more vibrant and subtle than spiritualism's brash and flighty claims.
Are you really really sure its real? Thats its not just a temporary illusion????
Theres a lot of things science has failed on but mediums and psychics have succeeded at. I myself got pinned down by a spirit around 12 years ago. i have had oracle dreams which have come to pass (ive had these from a child) - how does science explain that
??? Please buy a book calles Illusions (or at least look at it) by Richard bach, and please look at a short video on the Tube called The God Theory
I think you don't understand how deeply involved with spiritual things I was when I was young. I'm not blind to the amazing things the human mind can do... the problem is that I've learned more about the human mind itself via scientific means and I'm starting to understand where these phantoms and visions really come from. In things such as "oracles" we often focus on the "hits" and ignore all the "misses". It is also surprisingly easy to get the human mind to hallucinate (no drugs needed).
I think the placebo is there - but also I do believe in alternate energies. Look what Reiki has achieved? Outstanding results.
You can also play the placebo game in normal medicine. Science is great, but just like religious and spiritual fields, science has its share of loonies who operate from blind faith.
Reiki? The "energy healing" portion of reiki is quite doubtable. I think you'd be surprised to know how many forms of energy and radio waves and such can be detected and tested by science. Yet this energy "energy healers" claim to feel cannot be verified in experiments.
Really/ Well the medical board the world over is starting to recognise Reiki. Its had tremendous results. And besides, you seem to be led blind by this science stuff. Thats just the workings of the ego.
I'm sure there's beneficial qualities to Reiki via the massage/human touch aspects of it... but for the "energy" portion of it to be accepted by rational thinking people... you honestly need to start presenting some verifiable proof of these things. I don't think that's the "ego" talking in me. Just my human need to not be fooled by people who seem so often eager to fool themselves and others with them.
No, but I bet I would have been there questioning the people who insisted on drilling holes in people's skulls to "let the demons out". The claims that spiritual healing and mediums make aren't some "new discovery" or "new field of science" they've been around for a very long time. As I said, all they need to do is go to James Randi and have their claims tested. I'll be eagerly watching along with everyone else, but somehow... it seems like an old sad song by now.
The real benefit I can see in Reiki is the benefit of human touch and massage that has already been proven to be beneficial to humans. But you don't need Reiki for that... just someone skilled at massage.
As far as loonies in science go, I don't see it coming from "blind faith". People of science go on test results and verifiable proof not faith. I know there are problems with our modern medical institutions (especially in America), that's more due to the health profession's love of money from drug & insurance companies, not from blind faith in science of any kind. Money often has a discouraging way of perverting science, but that too is not a problem that "alternative medicine" can solve.
BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT. You obviously NEED to be RIGHT. That much is obvious. Reiki has been proven. And science is not bound to test anything spiritual - thats the whole point of spirit.
Heres a challenge for you. GO TO SEE A VERY GOOD MEDIUM, THEN JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. Every thing you say is all ego, ego ego...a Need to be right. Proof, proof, and more proof, again the working of the ego. Sometimes theres a knowing that rancends all that rubbish.
Like I said... it's not ego, It's desire not to be used and taken advantage of by people with unsubstantiated claims. If someone charged you $100 for some "magic potion" to heal me I would want to look into the research first to make sure it wasn't just placebo. I know placebo can have effects... but no placebo effects are worth $100.
I don't need to be right, but for these claims of energy and magic healing to be salvaged in my mind, I need some kind of test that shows their alleged effects are repeatable and verifiable.
Being open minded is harder and harder to do when you've seen confidant crystal healers fail at what should be a simple test. But really, I'm open to believing in it once it's proven! You don't understand how exciting it would be if someone was able to demonstrate super-natural ability.
James Randi has put for a very Very VERY large prize for anyone who can... the prize has been offered for a long time now... but why hasn't anyone claimed it yet? Because repeatedly these spiritual healers have gone up for the test with all confidence and been shown to be fakes and shams. This is not my "ego" talking... it's something called the rational mind that keeps us safe from charlatans!
You must understand that personal testimonials are NEVER convincing evidence from the standpoint of science. There are too many factors that can come into play to make things seem legitimate to our limited and stifled human senses. When a scientist comes forward with a claim of a fantastic discovery you would have to be crazy to think other scientists will accept that claim based on personal testimonials of witness scientists.
The first reaction is usually to scrutinize the scientists' lab-data and see if it the experiments are repeatable. They also will look for possible circumstances that might effect the results and invalidate the hypothesis/theory. Only after withstanding scrutiny and testability will other scientists accept what is presented
This same level of scrutiny is never found in the "mystic/spiritual" community. They make outstanding empirical claims about the nature of the universe and "hidden energies" and effects these energies or spirits can have, but when asked to test their claims as a scientist would they shirk away and ask everyone to come to "personal conclusions" or experience it for themselves under a variety of vague and nebulous settings that could never bear consistent or testable results.
Dont judge a movie until you've SEEN it. Go to a psychic, a medium.....search...find out....THEN JUDGE. We can argue all day...but PROVE there is no spirit???? PROVE there is no afterlife? PROVE there is no healing. IT works both ways.
You don't get it do you? Fantastic claims require fantastic evidence, especially when so many how have come before turned out to be charlatans. Back to your old example of the Wright Brothers... just telling people they had been able to fly wasn't enough. They had to prove what they had accomplished and show that it was repeatable. In the same manner, if psychics want us to believe their outstanding claims... they need to prove what they are capable of in a double-blinded "fool proof" setting.
They must show that their talent isn't relying on vaugeness of speech... they also must show that the "hits" vs "misses" in their predictions set them apart as not being a matter of blind chance. Oddly enough, most psychics aren't too keen to testing their claimed powers in a double-blinded setting like this... and those that do have always failed to show convincing results.
Well i dont know what psychics you have over there, but i know loads who have passed the test. with frighting accuracy. GO SEE ONE> STOP ARGUING AND TAKE ACTION. PROVE THEY ARE NO GOOD. PUT UP OR SHUT UP.
WELL GO SEE ONE. OR ARE YOU TOO SCARED TO BE PROVED WRONG????
Look, a medium i went to see about 7months ago was really good. Told me things he shouldnt have known. Not general stuff but up close and personal. He told me also, that i got no right to try and change peoples opinion, and that people are where they are in life....so on that note....
Yeesh... stop it with the obnoxious all-caps yelling. It has nothing to do with being "scared" of seeing a medium you whiny bitch! It has everything to do with not wanting to waste my limited money and time on some fraud who can't even put forward verifiable proof of their alleged powers! And no, I'm not going to take some juvenile ALL-CAPZOR'z word for how marvelous spiritual mediums are.
It's a well noted fact... on the internet when you type in ALL CAPS like that... it comes across as someone yelling and screaming and bawling on like a hyperactive child! You'd do better to avoid it in conversations future. A well placed exclamation point would serve you better!
I tell you what... get that medium of yours to go and win the prize from James Randi proving his powers and I'll personally make a pilgrimage to seek out his services! Randi dot org slash research. If he can truly tell someone things that shouldn't be known it should be easy to get that prize right? A Million Dollars and a chance to prove psychic phenomenon! Or is it the mediums who are scared of something here?
I saw this "psychic" on stage some time ago...and he was so general a cold reader could have done better. i was so annoyed. Unless they can come out with personal and detailed readings, they should pack up and go home. So yes, in some ways i agree with you. People need proof, but no proof will change a closed mind. This is why spiritualists and meta-physicians call it the ego-mind. Because the mind always seeks to prove itself right. people shouldnt mistake thier BELIEFS for reality.
Science science science. Cant you see beyond that? Science and spirit co-exist side by side. They dont contradict each other. Religion contradicts, but I got no time for religion.
IF I WAS OPERATING ENTIRELY FROM BELIEF SYSTEMS, I WOULD JUST CAVE IN AND SAY "OK"......BUT YOU ARE REPEATEDLY OVERLOOKING THE FACT THAT IM OPERATING FROM EXPERIENCE. MY BEST FRIEND IS SIMILAR TO YOU, AND WE HAVE GOOD TALKS. BUT ONE THING ABOUT MY EXPERINCES IS THAT I CANT FORCE THEM ON ANYBODY.
I have serious doubts that this "spirit" thing even exists. Sure there are things science has yet to understand but these revelations confirm the complexities and intricacies at which the physical world works, not some separate "spirit" plane.
It's funny... did you even look up James Randi or look at his site? Have you challenged any of your spiritualist assumptions by reading over case-histories of confident claimants who have stepped forward only to fail when they were tested? Is your "personal experience" really so convincing that you scoff at any rational minded challenges to your faith in the supernatural? It won't cost you any money to do that (unlike your directive to me to go see a quack... erm... medium).
I have challenged myself many times. I have a friend who challenges me constantly. Science is good. Im into it. but science can only go so far. i have a huge interest in Astronomy. A quack is just a label from the ego-mind:It doesnt matter. Why dont you try a good medium THEN GET BACK TO ME. And I will challenge myself with science even although Ive had more clairvoyant dreams than I care to remember. Maybe we can both learn from each other.
I'll repeat it again... I was fooled by "Experience" as well. Human senses and experiences are easily muddled and deceived. Many people in spiritual fields are such cunning tricksters that sometimes they even fool themselves.
Experience may keep you trapped as a slave to your deficient/warped human senses but one can hope that you will see, for knowing real "truths" concerning the universe... we need to rely on things that can be tested and verified... things that can be repeated. Testimony and personal experience can't trump the likelihood that the eyes and ears we believe are ,nonetheless, eyes and ears very easily deceived.
If anyone is warped its you. Whos to say what you experince is real? The fact that your getting insultive says a lot. We can posted comment after comment and go on forever, but we are not going to change each other. I find it so comical that you just cant let go of that ego. You desperatly need to out manuver me verbaly. BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT. Its funny how the subconscious goes to great lengths to prtect its beliefs.
In UK there was this Psychic challenge. ppl like uself were judging britains top psychics. Diane Lazerus came 1st. She passed nearly all tests. I saw her in person. She4 was scary. GO AND SEE ONE.
SCIENCE CAN ONLY PROVE WHATS IN THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE. SPIRIT IS OUTSIDE TIME AND SPACE WHICH IS WHY SCIENCE CANT PROVE IT. Even one of the best scientists in the world(the atom) said that there must be an intelligence - that the universe is on purpose. Why take your conciousness for granted.

If someone charged you $100 for some "magic potion" to heal me I would want to look into the research first to make sure it wasn't just placebo. I know placebo can have effects... but no placebo effects are worth $100.
Duckhugger 4 years ago
I don't need to be right, but for these claims of energy and magic healing to be salvaged in my mind, I need some kind of test that shows their alleged effects are repeatable and verifiable.
Duckhugger 4 years ago
I AGREE, but im just asking you to be open minded.
LaurieJames 4 years ago
Being open minded is harder and harder to do when you've seen confidant crystal healers fail at what should be a simple test. But really, I'm open to believing in it once it's proven! You don't understand how exciting it would be if someone was able to demonstrate super-natural ability.
Duckhugger 4 years ago
James Randi has put for a very Very VERY large prize for anyone who can... the prize has been offered for a long time now... but why hasn't anyone claimed it yet? Because repeatedly these spiritual healers have gone up for the test with all confidence and been shown to be fakes and shams. This is not my "ego" talking... it's something called the rational mind that keeps us safe from charlatans!
Duckhugger 4 years ago
There are many fakes and shams and that is a shame, because it spoils things for the rest of us.
Im not talking from belief in these respones but rather from experince. Ive witnessed too many things for a cynic to checkmate me on.

Duckhugger 4 years ago
The first reaction is usually to scrutinize the scientists' lab-data and see if it the experiments are repeatable. They also will look for possible circumstances that might effect the results and invalidate the hypothesis/theory. Only after withstanding scrutiny and testability will other scientists accept what is presented
Duckhugger 4 years ago

LaurieJames 4 years ago
You don't get it do you? Fantastic claims require fantastic evidence, especially when so many how have come before turned out to be charlatans. Back to your old example of the Wright Brothers... just telling people they had been able to fly wasn't enough. They had to prove what they had accomplished and show that it was repeatable. In the same manner, if psychics want us to believe their outstanding claims... they need to prove what they are capable of in a double-blinded "fool proof" setting.
Duckhugger 4 years ago
They must show that their talent isn't relying on vaugeness of speech... they also must show that the "hits" vs "misses" in their predictions set them apart as not being a matter of blind chance. Oddly enough, most psychics aren't too keen to testing their claimed powers in a double-blinded setting like this... and those that do have always failed to show convincing results.
Duckhugger 4 years ago
Well i dont know what psychics you have over there, but i know loads who have passed the test. with frighting accuracy. GO SEE ONE> STOP ARGUING AND TAKE ACTION. PROVE THEY ARE NO GOOD. PUT UP OR SHUT UP.
LaurieJames 4 years ago
WELL GO SEE ONE. OR ARE YOU TOO SCARED TO BE PROVED WRONG????
Look, a medium i went to see about 7months ago was really good. Told me things he shouldnt have known. Not general stuff but up close and personal. He told me also, that i got no right to try and change peoples opinion, and that people are where they are in life....so on that note....
LaurieJames 4 years ago
Yeesh... stop it with the obnoxious all-caps yelling.
Duckhugger 4 years ago
Im a whiney bitch???? LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Yawn. Y'know I could really go for some pizza.....
LaurieJames 4 years ago
It's a well noted fact... on the internet when you type in ALL CAPS like that... it comes across as someone yelling and screaming and bawling on like a hyperactive child! You'd do better to avoid it in conversations future. A well placed exclamation point would serve you better!
Duckhugger 4 years ago
I tell you what... get that medium of yours to go and win the prize from James Randi proving his powers and I'll personally make a pilgrimage to seek out his services! Randi dot org slash research. If he can truly tell someone things that shouldn't be known it should be easy to get that prize right? A Million Dollars and a chance to prove psychic phenomenon! Or is it the mediums who are scared of something here?
Duckhugger 4 years ago
I saw this "psychic" on stage some time ago...and he was so general a cold reader could have done better. i was so annoyed. Unless they can come out with personal and detailed readings, they should pack up and go home. So yes, in some ways i agree with you. People need proof, but no proof will change a closed mind. This is why spiritualists and meta-physicians call it the ego-mind. Because the mind always seeks to prove itself right. people shouldnt mistake thier BELIEFS for reality.
LaurieJames 4 years ago
LaurieJames 4 years ago
I have serious doubts that this "spirit" thing even exists. Sure there are things science has yet to understand but these revelations confirm the complexities and intricacies at which the physical world works, not some separate "spirit" plane.
Duckhugger 4 years ago
blah blah blah
LaurieJames 4 years ago
It's funny... did you even look up James Randi or look at his site? Have you challenged any of your spiritualist assumptions by reading over case-histories of confident claimants who have stepped forward only to fail when they were tested? Is your "personal experience" really so convincing that you scoff at any rational minded challenges to your faith in the supernatural? It won't cost you any money to do that (unlike your directive to me to go see a quack... erm... medium).
Duckhugger 4 years ago

Duckhugger 4 years ago
Experience may keep you trapped as a slave to your deficient/warped human senses but one can hope that you will see, for knowing real "truths" concerning the universe... we need to rely on things that can be tested and verified... things that can be repeated. Testimony and personal experience can't trump the likelihood that the eyes and ears we believe are ,nonetheless, eyes and ears very easily deceived.
Duckhugger 4 years ago
If anyone is warped its you. Whos to say what you experince is real? The fact that your getting insultive says a lot. We can posted comment after comment and go on forever, but we are not going to change each other. I find it so comical that you just cant let go of that ego. You desperatly need to out manuver me verbaly. BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT. Its funny how the subconscious goes to great lengths to prtect its beliefs.
LaurieJames 4 years ago
some of them are....
LaurieJames 4 years ago
there are many tricksters unfortunately...
LaurieJames 4 years ago

The crystal healing is quite not that strong, and quite slow but is effective.
LaurieJames 4 years ago
You're the one who needs to be open minded.
