Anybody who builds up an eclipse for a drag car or even fast street car is a fcking idiot, with their small fragile motors that break at the slightest little problem when if your going to spend the money you can spend the same amount on a better car that an eclipse or at least completely replace the engine and transmission

Ya of course if you put in a new motor into an eclipse or totally and completely upgrade the orininal maybe not as weak, but unless you put some money into the engine of an eclipse you might as well just save your money for a new engine if your going to race it.

@mastercueartist You DO realize that the 4G63 IS the stock engine on the 1g GS (DOHC), GS-T, and GSX. Also on the 2g GS-T and GSX (And they're respective DSM equivalents). So before you get behind you're keyboard and talk crazy shit about engine swaps ETC. Go learn something about what you are talking about. By saying the engines on these DSM's are shit you are also saying that EVERY SINGLE evo from I-IX has a shitty engine too because they also use the 4G63. You  know nothing.

That 350Z had a better launch since it most likely used the AWD feature. Plus if you look at the end timing you'll see that the 350Z finished at just about 1.5 seconds faster not the results we would have seen with a stock eclipse. I like that body kit to. Is it an 06 eclipse? That's the 3.8 liter v6 pushin 265 horsepower out of stock no? I'm guessing that's the five speed as well since they were the most popular of that year.

For all the retards, the Eclipse GSX is NOT twin turbo. I drive a 1998 GSX, it's running 16psi on an E316g turbo. It's all wheel drive, but not twin turbo. You're right though, my car will roll on most 350z's and even the supercharged ones, but not if the 350z has supporting mods.
