I thoroughly enjoyed those: they sounded great, and lasted for a LONG time. Can't get them here in mexico, though. And they're expensive.

@dom1995127 Hey man. I wear headphones because I can hear the original track better. Sometimes I've realized I've made mistakes by hearing to the song on headphones, since there's no way to unbalance the stereo with them.

Keep practicing that slap. It's really satisfying once you learn how to do it. Guaranteed!

Just know that the neck on that bass is FAT, and the bass itself is pretty heavy. Good bass though.

Yes, it's a very good bass. b3ns0ud3r is right: it's a very heavy bass, although I think that depends on which wood it's used for it, mine is bubinga and it's a back cracker. I would suggest definitively try one before buying it.

The nut's are built to hold certain sizes of string, and slinging in a set of standard strings would play havok with the intonation.

And to leifericson923, Les owns a varity of basses, but his two main ones are both custom Carl Thompson models. A four string fretted and a Six string fretless (the rainbow bass). As far as I am aware he has never used Warwicks, he has a Fender J and a Rick though.

actually he is right. Some bassists do use higher tunings. Like Victor Wooten for one, he uses ADGC sometimes. And Jaco (rarely) used a 5 string tuned EADGC.
