  • @Djwhitenorthofficial It's a MPD26 and no it's not. The MPD is just a trigger to the samples you have.

  • @TheBassHeavy ok but I still don't know what the name of the synth. thanks for the info do, I might get an MPD

  • Great.! But the beat machine isn't an MPC but an MPD24 as i saw.!!!

  • this is insane!

  • Do MPC's need a computer to make sound? Do they need any type of program at all, or do they come with beats built in?

  • @jess1up no, but he uses an mpd, its just a midi controller

  • This is the first MPC video I have watched and you amazed me dude, so I decided to post you in my blog!

  • Well let's put you kids in front of an sp-1200 and sample board and see if you can memorize and create beats like he can. You dumb f$"&@s . Don't realize he makes it look easy and it is a instrument! The tool is your brain and creativity using your brain to create the beats that are a memory bank in the soul for future performances to come! Haha dumb shits!

  • this is def shot and rec well. obv, no mad skill.

  • MPC??????

  • Sick beat

  • dumbass #2: MPD=MPC used to control sounds on your computer... it's pretty much the wave of the future eh? i use 2KXL still. All an MPD does is control the SAMPLES you assign to it on your computer... basically instead of it being internal on your MPC its on your computer and the MPD acts the same. Derrrka derrrr.

  • Live mpc beats... THE CRONIC FORCE..

    ALL ORIGINAL SAMPLES!

  • @johnpond69: I play guitar already and I'm good at it and this guy here was sick AF!, admit it bitch... He fingered his key pad till it exploded with an orgasm and your just jealous cuz your an over weight depressed virgin fuck who can't do anything as close as bad ass as this... Gtfo..

Damn I hate YouTube trolls -_-

  • @MellowMidnight281 dude you can do this shit with your computer keyboard this is gay as shit so suck my dick and quit hattin on comments. AND YOU CAUGHT ME AT A BADTIME MOTHA FUCKA!!!!

  • daniel johnston

  • Everyone who's arguing about how an MPC is more artistic than a MPD needs to take a plugged in toaster into the shower with them.

Both are just interfaces for controlling samples, interfaces that are essentially the same.

  • like this if you'd like to write daniel johnston a letter and send it to him in the mail

  • This is gay go learn guitar instead of pressing buttons

  • @johnpond69 appreciate music bitch!

  • @johnpond69 dumbass #1: people hate what they do not understand.

  • @johnpond69

How is this even related to guitar?

  • MASSIVE!!!!

  • @adammakarita the only difference is...you can load samples into an MPC, you cant with an MPD. but your computer ends up being the storage for your samples.

i might have named the vid "music made with buttons and samples" :)

    nice tune man.

  • for those who like to put a green thumb !!!!!!!!

    because it kills yeahhh

  • I need a Mpd.

  • I need en Mpd.

  • if you look at beat he is tapping out its the synth line , but at :32 he moves his hand to the keyboard and the synth line keeps going...

then after a little while he goes back to tapping out the synth line that has already been tapped into a midi recorded loop...

So i dont get what he is tapping...a beat that is already playing on its own...

if thats the case then he isnt doing anything...

  • @xpez

It's how he has the sample chopped up. The last button he pressed has that breakdown. The other 15 have individual kicks snares and hi hats.

  • somehow software sounds different from hardware

  • Whoever made up this title is a fucking dumbass.

  • rockin a Daniel Johnston T-shirt ahaha sick life

    COPY`:'THE::,ADDRESS',:ABOVE,`;

  • Cuanto cuesta esa madre?

  • SAMPLE>?

  • "This video is absolutely live, there are NO LOOPS or background tracks." Fair enough, but do you always play in some dusty warehouse to a bunch of front-loaders 'n' shit?

  • @adammakarita an mpd is a midi controller that send signals to software that create the sound. They act like an analougue switch. In an mpc the button doesnt create the sound, it too send a signal to a system that creates the sound. So for all intents and purposes its action and execution of tasks is nearly identical. Ive sold nearly all my MPC equipment and bought a native instrumetns maschine which can do everything an mpc can do but more...and better!!! MPC IS DEAD!

  • MPD is shit and MPC is a light years higher then mpd

  • AWH EDGAZ ONCE AGAIN U MADE ME CRY i wana see u with monome

  • nice track and timing xD ......mpc is basic

  • Great timing!

  • coppin 1 of those motha fuckas

  • Hi How are you, I like thew shirt

  • nice beat man check my channel for mpc beats

  • UgHHHHHHHH i WAnnnnA get The sAmplesss...

  • @adammakarita

You need to do your homework.

    1. You can get the same samples as the MPC from the internet.

    2. Note repeat is the only feature that the MPD CAN'T do. This "timing" (it's called swing aka groove) you speak of is easily reproduced on the software-end of the system.

    3. This video is titled MPC because not as many people would search for MPD

  • 2:30 omg i jizz and then rejizz

  • que...

  • why doesnt this video have over 10 million views by now?

  • whats with the kurt cobain shirt?

  • @adammakarita you dont think you can load computer data into an mpc? wav forms are interchangeable between pcs and macs and mpcs alike. the only difference, is the hardware. it's very similar, but i still think you are missing the point. the only reason it's tagged as such is to start creative conversation amongst people who play the m-pads, people who play the pads like and instument.. obviously they are different machines, but there is nothing you can do on one that you can't on the other.

  • @kidwithoutradio i been waiting for somone to say that

  • @kidwithoutradio yes there is dude, with an mpc and a headset you can start bangin them beats right away, with an mpd you will need a computer, and so your computers soundcard... so the realness and creativity level is much lower than an mpd computer controller, a computer screen just dont give me inspiration

  • @kidwithoutradio true as long as u talk about the newer models.. my 3k has its very own format, internal compression, preamps, therefore the music in it sounds different... the programming itself is different and its idiosyncrasies make it a very unique beats.. its like saying a synth keyboard is like a grand piano

someone who can play can play both, and a good musician is independent of the medium used.. but they ARE different. anyone who says the opposite is straight bloated. ps : i own both

  • @neopandorex2 and all of those internal components make a hell of a difference when you put a video on youtube... no one's questioning the fact that they are different machines, the purpose of this video is PROGRAMMING THEORY. you can (through one way or another) program the same sounds into both machines. Whether or not it has the smallest difference in fidelity is something which I cannot argue. We could have put the guts of a mpd into an mpc case and no one on YOUTUBE would have said ANYTHING

  • @adammakarita Good job reading the whole comment. +10 Interwebs.

  • where did you get that shirt and what does it mean i have seen it on a few people i.e. kurt cobain and others

  • @firstamendright google daniel johnston

  • @synthxplayer Nah, the MPD is made in the image of the MPC. Therefore each has the same value as an instrument. The insides may be different, but honestly all of the theory behind making beats is very similar no matter what you use. If you intend to differentiate the mechanics inside, then go ahead. But I think we all know the purpose of this film was more to show the performance value... which is EXACTLY the same as the MPC. Give us MPCs we'll do it again exactly the same way.

  • @kidwithoutradio i agree for the most part but it does not have the same value. i've had mpc's for the past 7 years and would never get a controller. used them before just not my thing. i'm sure u could do the same with an mpc performance wise. i dont think u have sliders to control the sounds live either on the mpd. but w/e it really doesnt matter what u use its how it comes out! keep doin ur thing kid without a radio.

  • @kidwithoutradio he just got hurt because you put mpc beat machine instead of MPD beat machine that's all

that's what started this. mis-communication. have a nice day =)

  • You can really tell who knows what they are talking about in these comments.....

Learn some shit if your gonna talk, that is all.

Found this label today, Egadz and Edison is just sick, lovin' it

  • I like it!

  • @adammakarita Really? and you dont think millions of mpc users dont sample from synths and use computers? Get your head out of your ass. This is set up to play a 16 bar piece across the pads and he uses variation to change it up. i call that MPC REGARDLESS of the fact that people cant read the description. Its the same fucking thing without being stuck inside the box of a mpc OS. WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT DEEPER EDITING?

  • Well done

  • thats not an mpc, thats an mpd

  • mpd not mpc

  • Talent.

  • LOVE IT!

  • stop having sex with my ears =D

  • 500,000th

  • great beats and a ear for daniel johnston...legendary

  • thats not an MPC, its an MPD

  • Meh, this was OK. Nothing spectacular

  • @groovekiller

U DROP A VID BETTER THAN THIS THAN WE WILL SEE WHOS WALKN N WHOS TALKN BECAUSE THIS VID IS DOPE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DOPENESS1997 this is dope, but yea its really not that hard. you should try it, its fun!

  • oooow shit i like too !!!!!

  • He looks like a cross between Yppah and Daedelus lol.

He is a beast. I gotta go buy a Drum Machine.

  • how do u learn to play like that I really want to learn and what drum beats and samples did you use

  • @kingodin79 Well, basically, all you have to do is to choose the samples you'll be using (like cymbals, hi hats, snares, kicks, whatever you want) and assign it to an MPC or any programmable-pad/synth like machine. You can add pad/synth/other sounds as you with to make your beat richer, and when you're done play around with it. Seems easy, but it's a long process in the end.

  • @kingodin79 same thing every person will probably tell you, you need to find your own and the internet and google is a great tool to use for finding any sample.

it takes time man and a lot of thought, a lot of people think you can just buy these things and its that easy for simple cases and most retards it can be but for someone who "thinks" its not easy to use as it takes a lot of planning for layers and kit placement for a comfortable feel and play.

practice and time is how you do this.
