Die Hard 2 is a quality film! Not as good as 1 or 3 but still my favourite for some reason.

4 doesn't really match up to the earlier ones either. Must be a nostalgia sort of thing.

i agree that die hard 2 was sub par, die hard 1 is the best , it was one of if not the best action movies ever, number 2 is very dry and unoriginal ,dennis franz character is just the same as paul gleason in the first. number 3 is very good with an excellent villain as is alan rickman in the first. die hard 4 was okay but i think the chemistry between jackson and willis in the 3rd makes it really fun and enjoyable.

Die Hard is definitely one of the best movie series. DH1 and DH2 were the Best. There is no even competition. DH4 was good too but DH3 was stupid, useless and pointless.

Die hard 4 wasn't that bad. Maybe the decision to downgrade it to PG-13 was a dumbass move, but it still was badass. Although I would reccomend the unrated version.
