I don't like the scenes between 3.47 and 5.05 as if this documentary equals the communists with the Nazi's. That the KPD was just as evil as the NSDAP. This is wrong because many KPD members were not yet harcore Stalinists.

It is true that the KPD became Stalinist after 1927, but even in 1933 there were no pictures of Stalin at the KPD headquarters. I think it is wrong to say that the KPD was equal to the NSDAP only because they opposed the bourgeoisie democracy of the Weimar Republic.

I always wondered, what would have happened if the Russian Revolutions were defeated, and the Tsars Government and Army were with the victors all the way to November 1918, and the German Revolution was more successful and installed a Marxist Communist Regime, with no buffer State Poland and an enlarged "Neo-Fascist" Russian Government who had encroached as much into German Territory than Poland would have, as well as occupying half of the Austrian Hungarian Empire, whose side would Hitler be on?

Don't think history can repeat itself? I got an email blog about 'U.S. Concentration Camps,' quite scary. An a possible 'American' holocaust waiting to happen if the corruption does not end. And who will be the targeted ones? To have a living wage that you can live on. To have health care. To be able to vote. All sorts of rights we communists have fought for in our own individual countries since we've been around.
