You can make babies with sims of different colors, duh. The baby was the color of the 3rd skin shade option, not black. Black is the fourth skin shade option. The dad's probably black or the 3rd shade of brown.

u get them preggers by have two sims on a bed, if they're VERY fond of each other, married, engaged, etc...have them CUDDLE first....then as they're cuddling...there should be an option for "try for baby"....then it goes to the typical 'woo-hooing' XD then right afterwards, if you don't hear a baby sound "the 'rock a bye baby' music, then try again...if you do, then it's BABY TIME!
