More specifically, I wonder why the various interpretations of 'spiritual teachers' all seem so radically different from each other. You seem to be the only trustworthy individual on the subject I've come across so far. And I assume science has not proved such things as telepathy because it is overwhelmingly believed, via 'intent', that it is not possible?
What science proves true and what the average scientist believes is true are two very different things. Scientists are products of their culture and are full of fear, ego, expectations, and caught in belief traps just like most everybody else. Telepathy (communications without sense data) is a fact, proven many times, (see Dean Radin's work) but not accepted by mainstream science caught in a objective causality belief trap.
@twcjr44 Tom, not in my wildest dreams would I have thought I'd manage to reach you. And especially not so quickly. One of the biggest surprises that hit me in life was, in fact, personal experience of telepathy. In one conclusive episode of it happening I became convinced that everything I'd experienced wasn't my imagination. And I am convinced you mentioning telepathy specifically isn't a coincidence. Thank you *so* much, Tom. You've been the one light in the darkness of misinformation.
Dr. Campbell, I've been following you for years, ever since I picked up Monroe's books after having a few peculiar experiences of my own. But I have so many questions I wish I could ask you. The past few years have been frustrating to say the least. There are a lot of spiritual teachers out there, talking of enlightenment and using big terms. How do their world views on enlightenment fit into this? Why does reality evolve predatory animals that rely on killing and being afraid to survive?
Most of these philosophers you speak of have a piece of the big picture but not the whole picture. Many also have some beliefs that travel along with their interpretation of their truth. A few have much more belief than truth. If you don't take what you hear literally (it is all personal interpretation in terms of metaphors), you may find more similarity. The rule-set evolved predators - predators are a logical consequence of the rules that govern the VR simulation..
profhe, Do you want to be one of those footnotes in history who's only remembered because of a monumentally-foolish trashing of original genius; because you've failed to grasp the full extent of what he's saying; and because you're too much in love with defending an older, more comfortable partial picture? You're right on the brink. Best do as Tom suggests: say less, keep studying. You'll get there. If you don't the society around you will, so don't set yourself up for universal ridicule. Shhh!
I'm very interested in what he says but I'm sorry to say that this falls into the realm of plausible but misleading pseudoscience. You almost wish it could be true but to be honest it ignores two things:-
1) The Scientific Principle: Using verifiable, repeatable results to validate claims.
2)Occam's Razor:It ignores the simplest solutions and makes everything much more complex to explain events.
If anyone is interested I'll put forth specific points as there are no characters left here.
Listen on... don't jump to conclusions too soon -- the repeatable results to validate claims are discussed even though criteria 1) only holds within an objective reality. Our reality is probabilistic and statistical -- it is approximately objective where uncertainty is low (such as in the hard sciences). This theory relies on two major assumptions only -- no Big Bang popped out of nothing assumptions here :-)

Occam's Razor is falso though so it does not apply. It is a good thought that equations need to be beautiful and simple to be true but that is simply not true. Just because something is complex does not give any reason to dismiss it.
Dr Thomas, could you address violence and so-called 'psychotic' people in relation to your TOE? And what are your thoughts on so-called 'moraliy' in general?
@GordonMorrice violence and so-called 'psychotic' people in relation to his toe.
simple, a reaction to their environment struggles of life turn to crime etc. now an individual with a serious disability might have a specific objective to learn from this situation in the simulation.
at the start of your talks you say to remain skeptical. i am trying to but what you say is all so well thought out and it makes sense.. to me it does anyway. i find myself both amazed and agreeing with what you say. the feeling of dropping belief and ego (well at least trying to) is a journey to becoming a better person i wish i started years ago. cant wait for the following clips. i ordered your books and they just arrived today. super excited. keep on expanding peoples minds as you are mine.
@twcjr44 that makes sense. I find My Big Toe fascinating and enjoy learning about and look forward to experiencing consciousness. Like you said in your 1st book you have to digest My Big Toe in bite size pieces or it can become very overwhelming.
Tom mentions that his memory isn't what it used to be at 65. Does that mean when we die we will lose our memory because our physical state is gone and we just have our conscious state? How about those that have brain injuries are their conscious states injured too?
No. Because the rule set must be followed, brain damage simply limits the extent to which the consciousness can express itself in PMR through its character (virtual body)
@stohn361 The mind entrained with physical body is always immeasurably more limited than unconditioned awareness, free Consciousness. All your memories are forever and holographic. You don't have to hold them in a physical box; but when you are living in the opaque illusory reality (box) of your psychosoma, they are far more suffocated than when you are unembodied.
Find your way. Answer your own questions experientially.
It is going to be several weeks before they go up. Donna & Keith of MBTeventsDOTcom who have been working very hard editing the raw footage and getting it ready for YouTube have other more critical and important family matters to attend to for a few weeks. They will be back at it as soon as they can.
well isnt that a simplification? what was before the big band and who created that so on, where does the intelligence come from and if the point of us is to be loving why do we have strong ego built in?
The Consciousness system, which is informational and not physical, evolved from a potential to be self-aware. It existed before, during, and after the big digital simulation (bang) was set running in a tiny subset of memory within the consciousness system. Your question indicates no 500 characters or less segments will be sufficent to resolve your misunderstandings. If your interest is genuine, the books are free on Google books -- you will find your detailed answers there.
@SpiritMolecule1 The personal ego is a falsehood we are transcending, and in it, you will find everything that is imperilling this planet. Human being is a transitional phase between the animal kingdom and innate divinity, the holy, glorious, transcendental Absolute. This is the victory of unbounded Love, All-at-once coherence, universal benefit. There is only Consciousness. There can be no certainty except your Consciousness, and that same one is mine, and the substantiation of energy-mass.
another thing tom, if the goal is to get rid of the ego why do we have such a strong ego built into us? if the system doesnt like ego why is it in our body and is very hard to get rid of since it feels like we SHOULD be egoistical.
@TheJonp2010 yeah but who really knows what this place is about? tom says that when looking you get data and you see whats in front of you but what about when i close my eyes and walk towards a wall, i still feel the wall though i cant see it, that must mean that the data is linked to multi sensors? this stuff just makes one crazy haha
You must abide by the ruleset in a multiplayer game with an enviornment. Closing your eyes or turning your head dosent make the rule set or everybody else go away -- it just makes what is rendered to you visually at that moment go away.
@twcjr44 alright, so you dont think something intelligent programmed it? why is that? also do you think life on earth was designed by aliens? because that seems much more logical than it just coming up randomly and even francis crick who discovered the dna double helix believed that.
Something intelligent evolved it. The Larger consciousness system is an intelligent self-changing (self-programming) evolving system. Our physical virtual (computed) reality -- Big Bang take 1 -- was evolved by setting up the initial conditions, specifying the ruleset, and then pushing the "run" button". If that didn't work out so well, the conditions and ruleset were modified and the Big Bang take 2 was run... etc. Eventually our universe with our ruleset was the result
This is amazing Tom, another great lecture! Just when I think that the stuff I can learn from you over the internet is getting short.. I get hit with some goodies.
Sometimes I really wonder how life feels on that side, thanks for uploading friend. :)

@GordonMorrice,
Violence and psychosis may have many causes. Could be low quality of consciousness or something else like a brain biochemistry problem
Take a look at this for a MBT based morality code:
