@RossMonster Thats not possible, you would be able to tell a difference, even if they FC'd it.

@RossMonster I'm well aware of bots and FOF. But even with an fc, with the crowd turned off, and direct input for the audio, there is still a difference in the sound and quality.

i think the drums sound like the real thing and if it is a cover its extremely well done even all the cymbals sound the same

@UltraBlorb The cymbals do sound the same, as do the toms, which makes me think it's real. I'm still really curious as how it was done.

@evanrose I think it was done from Guitar Hero World Tour where the instruments are split up so you can make just the drum track louder but i could be wrong

Interesting - the YouTube version of the track is playing more slowly than the same song on my iPhone (which I discovered while playing the two together to see if I could spot any discrepancies - there are a lot of covers masquerading as actual drum tacks out there).

@beanbagsailor Excellent point. I'm just wondering, if this was the original drum track, how did this person come into possession of it? And if not taken directly from the board, where did it come from and if it was done with filters, how?

@evanrose It's ripped from Guitar Hero: World Tour. The game has 3 Tool songs, each song has isolated tracks on them. You take the drum track out, export it to an mp3 and upload it to YouTube. That's exactly how all the other drum tracks are on YouTube
