i used to think like that, but gears 2 was my first 18 game and it actually wasnt as bad as i thought it would be, its not scary at all. you dont need to worry about the blood and gore because you have the option of turning it off. You know lets face it gears is in the top 10 most gory games ever made lol

Yo man you need to try out GOW1. It's multilayer is more competitive, fairer, and generally much more fun than GOW2. CliffyB made Gears 2 a noob's paradise.

You have a high K/D ratio in CoD, but I don't think it'll be as easy in GoW2 :P Took me awhile to achieve that 2+ ratio. Lag is your enemy.

I had a 1.8 ratio in Gears 2 before I sold it. I don't care about k/d in this game because of all the rampant kill stealing, especially since I use the Hammerburst and down enemies constantly. I'd say at least half of my downs got stolen back when I played this non-stop at its launch.

Yeah, that's true. That still continues till this day, and with the action delay after the roadie run it's even harder to get that downed kill (unless it's warzone). That's why I play with people I know so stealing doesn't happen. It took awhile to take some adjusting to the slower pace gameplay compared to the first Gears, but dare I say I like Gears 2 more now :)

If you thought COD4 made u mad with randomness and being inconsistent, GOW 2 will make u want to kill babies. I like to play GOW more than COD because i think it takes more overall skill and knowledge of the game. And a headshot in GOW is so much more satisfying
