Two of the greats! I was lucky enough to have jammed with Sunnyland Slim in the early 70's. His voice was naturally loud, and almost didn't need to have a microphone to be heard above the band.
gash I can't get myself to listen to this, but heay if was not for those people who lived before us, we wouldn't have what we have today. Sorry music disliked just to be different.
what a beautiful classic tribute to 2 great bluesmen. We were blessed to have them, and we can keep on supportin the blues, and give a little respect for a style that is still not treated well on media such as APPLE, (profits are the only important thing) . So show up, write your Satellite radio... email your local stations.. cuz I dont know anyone/ any age that cant get into some rockin crazy cool hip blues.. We listen, we support IT WILL LIVE and GET BETTER..peace
RIP Bro..we all love you.

Fine guitarist of course, and Sunnyland Slim always good, I always felt though that Howlin' Wolf AND Hubert Sumlin was a "marriage made in heaven".
Tks for the posting.

Hubert is my idol and mentor of guitar-playing. It is interesting he was playing Gibson instead of Strato.
luvgoldwax1 7 months ago
@luvgoldwax1 I guess back then he didn't use Strats at all. Gibson and Supro Dual Tone did for him.
