I can guaranty you that almost all video of jumps looks smaller than they actually are. With the exception of GOPRO fish eye. They tend to look bigger :)
I took a bunch of video of guys launching off a jump onto a down hill landing yesterday at Sleepy Hallow motocross track in PA. The jump was big and the guys were getting crazy air. When I came home and watched the video, it was most unimpressive.
