  • i got the golden curry from walmart but i r bad at making it i messed up the first time >_< did not look like the box at all

  • すごいなー。

    前に炒飯も作っていたし、何でも作れますね。

  • カレーが上手な女の子が好きです。

  • thats the same one my mom cooks

  • Is it good without onion?

  • おいし ^ー^

  • I bet you' can't make that curry the way you did here in your japanese apartment lol You only have one burner :( haha or wait, did you have two?

  • The curry squares, I thought they were a bar of chocolate! now I want a candy bar! :( lol

  • Cookware! How are the Japanese on the quality, or, more importantly, the types of cookware. (Like...) Upon the subject of health risks, do you know if the Japanese frown upon the use of aluminum cookware (or, have you heard anything much about it at all)?

  • lol i thought the curry blocks were chocolate :P

  • I think I would order a chinese takeaway with that $10 :P That curry looked tastey :)

  • Add one medium tomato chopped. By the time its done, the tomato is dissolved, but the taste is slightly different. Give it a try! ;-)

  • the golden curry mix is at my walmart whoo hoo now i am going to make it

  • cameraman is HOT!

  • @arivas713 Yeah she is! :D

  • My God, it looks like Chocolate!

  • @k0mpassi but it's tasty chocolate! ^^

  • @glasseyelashes Chocolate is always tasty, no exceptions! ^^

  • @k0mpassi for me, chocolate is best mixed in with something else. sometimes, chocolate straight up, is a little bit to much for me.

  • i watched this today and decided to make it and i have to say it was awesome!!! thanks for the awesome video! i hope you make more recipe videos =D

  • A white American woman in a kitchen... Cooking Asian food... Thats a shocker!

  • This is a very good recipe! Thank you for that! But I have 2 questions. Before I put the chopped potatoe in the pan, should I cook the potatoe or should I add a raw potatoe into the pan? My 2 question: You said 2,5 cups water, but how much ml (milliliter) is this? I would be very, very happy if you could answer my question! :) Thank you very much and excuse me, for my bad English :)

  • @Ninpouchou17 You add the potatoes raw, they get cooked when you add the water. And 2.5 cups is about 591 milliliters.

  • @brotherannie Thank you very, very much!! :D I'm so happy! I'll cook this tomorrow! :D

  • @brotherannie could you use chicken if so how much or would it be the same

  • @YamiAlex224 Totally, you'd use about the same amount.

  • Seriously? U live in Austin? I live not to far from there (Houston) How much money did u have to pay to go to Japan? I bet it was alot :3

  • @PeircedinBlood Not really, it was an exchange program so it was the same as my tuition.

  • @brotherannie how much of the curry bar do i use

  • Just discovered your videos! Where are you in Texas? ...You may have said it somewhere and I just don't know it yet.

  • @happyinthedark I'm from Austin, but I got my degree up near Dallas.

  • @happyinthedark Opposite of you. Lived in Austin til about 6 weeks ago, now I am in Dallas. (Carrollton). Did you ever go to Kyoto Japanese Restaurant between 3rd and 4th street on congress? I was a waiter there til it shut down on NEW YEARS EVE! (wtf??)

  • You know, on my first few trips to Japan, I actually despised Japanese curry (my mom's Indonesian, so I always had Indonesian-styled curry growing up). But now that I'm here, I can't stop myself from eating any curry-flavored item!

  • Try adding beer first letting the veggies boil in beer then add the water, grated apple and veggie juice, it's more work though. THen add less curry cubes or all that flavor will be lost. I used to love it the simple way and then I married Tsukky and he wanted more lol.

  • @HannahInJapana LOL I will take your advice Hannah, that sounds yummers.

  • lol :D i love the bloopers at the end

  • Nvm I found out what happened, ugh I'm so pissed right now

  • brotherannie what happened to you banner? and no more ads? :( what happened

  • U say Ppl dont wanna listen but i find all this very interesting Thnks And Please More Videos :)

  • Chyea! Kroger OIL

  • You could just boil the carrots separately? Bet they were rock hard :P

  • @Ionixification Why would you boil them separately? They boil perfectly fine with everything else, they weren't hard at all.

  • @Ionixification @brotherannie And also boiling everything together adds flavour. It would be a bit boring if they weren't.

  • great video ... :) I like it!! :)

  • lol. I've seen that curry mix in Walmart along with glorious Pocky! i likes me some pocky.

  • the japanese recipe has grated apple in it

  • @shylildude Not always. Not usually actually.

  • LOVE LOVE these videos! Going to try this!!

  • i'm allergic to potatoes, but i'm going to try this without them! also, as a college student, i live off of my rice cooker.

  • OMG i Made this and it taste SO FK GOOD!!!!! I LOVe you annie

  • Yea! Another recipe.

This is slightly more complicated but do-able.

    yeah cooking!

  • i would eat everything in that BUT the carrots BLEH hate carrots - 3 -

  • @CheerUp2 WAT ! O-o

  • @lillyclown yeah i dont like them or corn or brocile.....basically i hate all veggies but i like pottoas, spinich, mushroom XDD

  • @CheerUp2 You people be crazy!

  • @brotherannie haha yup XDD

  • @CheerUp2 B-B-BUT CORN AND CARROTS ARE THE SWEET VEGETABLES!

  • @lillyclown lol some how thats why i dont like them XDD i mean i could eat tons of cup cakes and candy but i dont like the sweetness of it yeah im weird :p

  • Yay...curry...I've always wanted to see a vid on this. I have never made any, but it looks delicious. I'm holding out on making some till I can afford a rice cooker cuz for the life of me I can't cook Japanese rice well without one. LOL

  • I take the easy route and use the stuff that you can heat up in water or the microwave. Just add meat and I'm done. No pan or pot to clean, just the bowl and spoon you used to eat it. Lazy person's curry.

  • No wonder it diddnt work out for me when i made it some time ago, i just threw everything in together lol

  • i love these you totally need to keep these up

  • Did I miss something, or did you skip the part where you show the finished product and everyone eating it?

The frying meat and onions part looked really, really good. Especially so as I'm sitting here eating beef flavor Top Ramen.

  • *applause*.

  • Another great video! I really like these cooking videos.

  • Nice, thank you! Btw i know Wal-mart has the golden curry(at least mine does).

  • I like these cooking videos so much!!

  • I thought it was a block of chocolate at first hahaha

  • @mosaicera

So did I. I was like "What she doing with that bakers chocolate?"

  • @gdrewpowers Chocolate is sometimes used in curry too, so I thought that was going to be her secret ingredient hahaha XD Well! Now we know ... it ain't the beautiful chocolat~

  • @mosaicera Chocolate in curry? I've never heard of that one, but I think chocolate can make anything taste better. I'll have to try that.

  • @brotherannie It's quite good, actually. Just not too much of it. Just a little little block of it. It's nice if you like the curry to be a bit sweeter =)~

  • @mosaicera Me too xD I thought she was going to be like, "While that is cooking, enjoy some Chocolate and Wine!"

  • not bad, but here is japanese curry rice

    youtube.com/watch?v=iYppVwuUe-g

  • @tyzojp Also, l would fry onions first, after gold add meat. :)

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks! I'm gonna try this! There is an asian marketplace near my house, hopefully I can make it right :P
