  • It's a great video. The students talk with straightforwardness in clear manner; they seems to be fully understand the game that are in and they are mentally prepared. They are smart; I wish them all the successes.

  • these kind of exams doesn't prepared us to make structured essays and other critical thinking, wich very required at the universities. When I have kids I'd definitely will consider that as important part of their education, not this one-time exam.

  • Thanks for English subtitles :] it's realy nice to see how different the korean culture is.

  • this is pretty cool!

  • Good video. It helps shed a little light on the incredibly intensive Korean education system. As an English teacher at a Foreign Language High School in Seoul, I can assure you, it's brutal. I really feel for the kids.

  • why the fuck is the little girl mocking his accent? that is so rude

  • Have you ever been to Korea? This is the rudest group of people i've ever met.

  • no they are not

  • @ephesus I met the fun - est group of people ever.

  • ithink she just made him laugh

  • College entrance exam is it good for the students or not??

    pls answer my question :)

  • yes its good

    because Confucian people love exams.

Only those who pass deserve respect

  • That was very interesting, I wonder why they get escorted by the police...

    Extra security for cheating?

    Crazy stuff

  • Because it is a really important exam for one's life, the police escorts students woke up late or couldn't get the transportation in time.

  • Gamsahamnida!!!

    Thanks for the information!

  • I think you're really interested in Korean Culture.

  • Yes! I love Korea! It is way more interesting than China or Japan. You guys are incredible!

  • If these exams are the most important event of one's life, why in the world are they late in the first place?

  • no not extra security for cheatingg... they are doing their civil service

  • i'm korean in korea

all koreans think that korean education system is like a fucking system

  • dont say that

  • it's awesome how they get escorted by the police ^^

  • thanks for the vid, I always wondered about just how bad these tests were...so how long does the test take?

  • Oops I mean attended and graduated class of 2004.

  • I took the exam when I used to live in Seoul. I attending at Seoul Science High school and I got accepted to Seoul National University but I decided to go to University of Texas for chemical engineer. I remember the exam was very hard and exhausting especially studying nonstop for the exam.

  • So informative and funny!

    "지금 가세요." ahahaha!

  • numoo ookyuh~!

  • Jesus. That is not a healthy education system. How can an individual become a creative, free thinker in such a stifling atmosphere? So you either become one of the lucky few who get in these elite schools or become a street vendor? That's not sane. No wonder so many Koreans leave Korea, like my parents did.

  • Ty for making this. =]

  • westie,it is not very nice to make and remarks on people's looks. and i think they are special in some ways and they are not ugly! mind you!

  • What was going on with the police bringing students to the test? Do the students call the equivalent of 9-1-1 when they're late to that test?

  • omg lol
