  • did ya'll notice some girl in the audience yell "COME ON BOB, LET HER PULL THAT 3!!!" before she won the Lincoln?

  • @PhoenixGoddess1983 yes, i have a habit of responding to myself...lol...but I just want to say that this win is up w/ my all-time faves, even though it wasn't a DSW.

  • GAWD DAMN, SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST SOOOOO DAMNED LUCKY...

    I'm happy for her :)

  • The name of this video is wrong. In 1999 an asian woman won 3 cars on her showcase on the price is right.

  • @maria1956ist Her total was still lower than $88,865.00

  • Did she have to donate $13,865 to charity cause she was over the $75,000 limits.

  • "how i met your mother" brought me here :D

  • And even without a DSW

  • i watched this live when i was eleven!

  • Bob Barker neglected to say his signature "help control the pet population" closing line at the end of the show.

And Bob Barker seemed to have pronounced Danielle like Dan-E-Elle.

  • @JonSea31 Obviously he was pressed for time, and he wanted to acknowledge the record-setting moment. It happened from time to time that Bob skipped the spay/neuter PSA.

  • When I watch the Three Strikes game the three strikes are considered the enemy of the game and the best way to beat them is having a cool strategy to tame the game.

  • If she would have big $50,870, not only she would have won both showcases, but the first tpir winner to pass the $100,000 mark.

  • notice how Bob gave her the order of the actual price of the car in reverse as he put the numbers in the bag...wonder if they still do that??? cheating huh?

  • Art work $ 1,200+Lincoln Continental $36,789+Rte 66 w/ 2 Cars $50,876=Total $88,865

  • jeez I was 9 then... and in fourth grade...lol

  • "A Lincoln Continental"?? OMFG!!!!!!

  • i'm guessing the "3 strikes" segment ran short, therefore Bob made small talk with Danielle...

  • omg, 1992?!?! hahaha, wow.

  • lolololol a linkin

  • How come they dont play this game anymore ever since Bob left?

  • Holy crap! She won both a Lincoln and a Corvette. She could almost sell the two cars and buy a new house.

  • @leafyutube Not in Cali

  • @leafyutube

she probably had to sell the cars just to pay the taxes.

    Greedy IRS

  • $88,865 stood for the longest time on TPIR until it was finally beaten on TPIR's 6,000th show. Then that was beaten on the start of the 35th season (Bob's last season) with over $147,000.

  • keep 'em out bob don't put it in bob!

  • when & why did they stop using the lower keyed version of "Big Banana?"

  • On the 6000th show a girl named Amy won a Cadillac and a Thurnderbird ($97,000). Her day-time record held for quite some time until Vicky-Ann came alone.

  • Way to go Danielle!

  • i'd jump into the arms of that cute military dude too :)

  • lol, some sohorority chick in the audience keeps yelling - 'C'MON BOB'

  • That Lincoln is in compton somewhere about to be used in a drive by. You know it and I know it.

  • havent a couple people won a million on the show?

  • thus, he put "at the time" on the title

  • NEWW!! 1992!!!

  • And it's a Pimpmobile!

  • Is it just me or does the big banana music cue sound different than usual?

  • To be exact on the total amount that Sheena won, it was 183,688. I can still remember in 2005 when I read the Go Figure section of Sports Illustrated (a forum somewhere on the Internet has all the Go Figure weekly updates), and the part that described the number 183,688 end with "a record haul for the show" (the show being The Price is Right, of course)

  • I don't know if anyone realizes this, but it seems strange for everyone to believe that Vickyann holds the daytime record. She does not, and what's even more interesting is that the record was set before Vickyann's appearance. In 2005, Eastern Oregon's then-freshman softball player Sheena Lindhorn won over $180,000 in cash and prizes.

  • i had a 91 lincoln continental, and it bluebook value at 16 hundred dollars. Only had 50 thousand miles on it too....haha

  • No one under 55 owns one.

  • i was 18 at the time

  • i was 31 LOL

  • i love the girl in the background yelling to pull out the three....

  • That sailor at the end of the showcase looked very pissed that he lost to little Danielle.

  • someone won a million dollars

  • Big Winner, yet so tiny...

  • Original air date: January 13, 1992

  • the highest winner is 1 million actually

  • Yep. theay have had atleast 2 winners hit the Million.

  • Thats day time price is right the night time is a spical 1 million dallar event

  • i never get tired of watching people win things :)

  • me neither, i love to see people who aren't rich get a big break

  • @SarahPalinGOP2012 SAME HERE :)

  • OMG a lincon continental!!!!!!!!!

  • She probably had to sell one of the cars to pay the taxes on the other :(

  • Diane looks as good as ever in the clip lol.

  • it feels funny looking at the old cars as hot prizes, lol.

  • Thats exactly what I thought watching it.

  • the daytime record stood until the 6000 show.

  • And as of now, I believe the daytime record is still standing for VickyAnn who won $147,517 on the 35th Season Premiere, and some guy named Adam holds the record for primetime shows of TPIR...

  • Man, you got a lot of time on your hands!

  • Haha I get all this information on "The Price is Right Timeline" where they have a list of every season, every week, and what significant events happened....

  • a bran spanking new 1992 lincon....

  • yeah that is exactly what i thought..... one they couldn''t sell in 1992 so they had to finally give it away.

  • This winner was one of the records when TPIR *was* TPIR. The show should have been canceled when Bob retired. I've tried to watch it with Drew but its just not the same. My prediction: TPIR Canceled in 2009 or 2010.

  • A "new" 1992

    Lol

  • I love how NOTHING has changed in about 15 years since this episode.

  • With 3 strikes and 5 numbers its something that she only had 1 strike drawn out of the bag. Way to go!

  • This record actually stood until the 25th anniversary special in 1997!

  • What I love is Danielle's very vocal supporter in the audience giving her helpful suggestions. "And THREE! THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS DANIELLE!" "Leave 'em out Bob, DON'T PUT 'EM IN BOB!" and later "FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!" in the Showcase.

  • oo! This may be the latest episode I've ever heard him forget to remind people to spay or neuter their pets!

  • Actually, it happens again a few times later...it was another episode where Toni won that Porsche on "The Price is Right" approximately 1 month later from this late...

  • that is true

  • Maybe at that time it was the biggest winner. But, in season 35 somebody won over $140,000 in prizes in daytime and on the mds this year the million has been won twice.
