Hey man, can you help me out. I'm learning this guitar part off your video, but I'm stuck at one part. Could you give me a quick tab as to what you play between 5:18 and 5:42. I'd appreciate the help man, and good cover.
Awesome, I really want to start playing electric guitar but I'm caught between getting a fender stratocaster and a fender telecaster. I can see your using a strat but have you tried using a tele? Which would you suggest I get to play post-rock. Ive researched some of my favourite bands and Ive noticed they sometimes alternate between using either of the two. Also, since Im new to this, what else should I purchase along with the guitarto achieve that post-rock sound. Thanks!
@cashflowization haven't played a tele, but those tele's with humbuckers do sound nice. To get a pretty nice sound you should get a good amp, and perhaps a digital reverb. But you should just play clean as you learn
boss gt-8 does all of the effects in this. It was direct captured, but i reckon it sounds better going through my amp.. i only did it because i don't have a decent mic
Haha yeah, it is boring playing alone. I usually record each track seperately on my Macbook, and then see how it sounds. Usually sound pretty much like the originals, Now al i need is the drum tracks, lol. =/

Please tell me you have tabs for this. Please. I'm confused on 4:29 and 5:18.
DanOldingham 9 months ago
@DanOldingham
for the 4:29 part its
g|----12(x8)--10--10--9--9--14(x8)--12(x8)
and then repeat and end on the 5th fret 3rd string

What kind of Strat is that? I love the old design on the neck, and the color, which I'd like to know as well lol.
Gamagachee 1 year ago
@Gamagachee It's an American '57 Reissue, made in 1983, probably from the famous Fullerton era. Maple neck. Color scheme is 'olympic white'.

@tHoM0r Olympic White, how could I forget that color ... lol. I should probabley get a '57 issue myself.

Nice, even know Munaf does the easy parts!

:P I can do all three parts though. I really must find some band mates. Playing alone is boring!

Yea, getting drums to sound right for post rock is pretty tough.
