  • it is very big

  • I'm just starting to watch, so may have to eat my words ;-), but ...

If your kit is for *you*, then it should be - I'd venture to say must be - walkable as well as good in a vehicle. Otherwise you may find yourself in a situation where you do have to walk and then have to figure out what to take & what to leave (also perhaps in 5 minutes or less).

It further worries me that your clothing & water kits are "in addition to this!".

  • @NewbieCamper No worries. It's a multi-person, multi-day support system. You can always make large into small but not the other way around. Any sizable water ration will be "in addition" due to the sheer weight and bulk of liquid. We're talking, way beyond a 100oz water bladder. Thanks for watching!

  • The Voodoo Tactical Mojo Load-Out Bag would be great for this type of application.

  • Upgrade your portage to something with wheels on it or get a luggage truck, so that you can go pedestrian ... one traffic jam will stop you (plus family) dead, in your tracks. Some sort of collapsible, field-worthy "rickshaw" (game cart) would allow you to go cross country, cross RR tracks, etc.

  • where did you get that first aid kit>?

  • Very organized and efficient Medical Kit.

    Emergency Relief System. 1 Breathing, 2 Bleeding, 3 Shock, 4 Head & Spine, 5 Bone, 6 Eye, 7 Burn, 8 Bites & Stings, 9 Extras.

I got an empty Dyna Med Air Medical Trauma bag from Galls dot com. I am going to stock and organize my bag like this. Thanks for posting this!

  • @warriorlion Thanks bud! Yeah, even though some of us have had some medical training, I figure that an organized kit will make things that much easier if it ever has to be used. It will be cool to see what you've put together in your Dyna bag.

  • Who's the 10,001st viewer??

    <------ this guy

  • @TheLanceKnight haha! Right on LanceKnight! Thanks for checking out my vids bro!

  • Thanks for posting but the stuff you have are redundant and not "light Weight" for carry. You will end up on foot going from point A to point B. Dig everything out and start over. Some ways you can save weight is vacuum seal your nuts and lose the tin. Copy only map pages you need and put in vinyl cover. Go to REI and pick up a multifuel stove. Spork. Is pancho needed if you have a tarp? Get a fixed blade for chopping and upgrade to 22lr rifle with scope.

  • Wow. Yet another AZ prepper. I've seen like 3 in the past week on youtube. What part by the way? I'm in phoenix.

  • @survivalizer Hey there bud! Yeah not far from phoenix myself.

  • @Patriot36 One of these days I think I will try to have some kind of a prepper meetup lol. That is if there is a one of these days.

  • @survivalizer Might be fun! You know where to find me!

  • Do you know the dimensions of the bug out bag. I am just out shopping around a little and wanted to compare.

    Thanks

  • @macraven24 30" long 16" deep, 16" tall.. approximate

  • how much and where can you find that ER med kit you show, and go threw?

  • @arthurlafave No longer available. You'll have to search professional EMT kits....

  • That is a professionals med kit. You may want to be helpful, but not properly trained & playing medic is difficult to put yourself in. Learn first aid and CPR. then creep through vital signs and infection control. Start with the mindset that short and on point med care is better then long chronic care with deteriorating health condition because you think you are prepared. Know when the care to be provided is out of your league...start with smaller steps. Just suggesting.

  • @SponsorsSABA Umm...well, I've taken 5-6 different medical aid classes over the past 3 years, the most recent being "Acute gun shot management." I've also been CPR certified for 8 years now. I can see that you're trying to be helpful but at the same time, why assume anyone knows little to nothing about a subject, unless you actually know them. Even if I personally didn't know anything about first aid, my wife could be a professional EMT, in which case the kit is still beneficial to posses.

  • @Patriot36 "My Bad".

  • @Patriot36 Owned him on that subject lol.

  • @WickedVids4u Thanks for the support bud!

  • where can i find the med kit?me likes

  • @TheSmackfan101 I'm really not sure. This was gifted to me but try doing a google search for large medical kits or paramedic kits.

  • mine is not nearly well equiped as yours

  • @hardeescarls ....and you might not need it to be either. Equip your kit the way that you foresee using it and adjust the contents to suit your specific situation. Thanks for the comments and support.

  • smaller the better we are 5 and we don't have that kind of bag i don't say it's not good but it as do be mouveable by one person heaven a child of 11 years old, every body including my childrens have there own bobs just in case that my wife or me are not capable or something happen's to us.but we have a bigger bag 40 litters or so for water and food etc..for our needs.but a bag like this is way to big to travel with, there's a lots of scenario's that this bag is not good but it better then nothing

  • @buggymak I don't think that as a rule a bag must be carry-able by a child to be useful. This is a vehicle transported emergency bag that has the capability of providing comfort to a group of people for a number of days. Cheap school backpacks can be used to break this kit down into smaller sections if necessary. It's also great for throwing in the SUV when I go camping, or hunting since if I've forgotten something, this bag often has what I need.

  • @buggymak you're right and i aprouve like you said there's no rules to follow for the perfect bag the important thing is to have enough of supplies and all the things that an emergency situation needs.....by the way nice video..........cheers

  • Great series. I subscribed.

I know that Nutnfancy did a vid on his bob bag. Can anyone give me a link to his video?

    Thanks.

  • dont get dollar store backpacks.

  • @phiposurde Holy cow! It sure does. That's a reasonably priced option isn't it. Thanks for that bit of info.

  • @Patriot36 You said supplement a lot in this video. lol

  • @jkatz44 That's because I'm a tard bro.

  • what do you have in there a dead body??? u must if you have to devide it into 4 backpacks

  • @HumanZoo22 I think so.

  • that thig is huge

  • where did you get your 1st aid kit

  • @bigjohn20081983

It was given to me by a medical sales rep for Allegiance Health and it's no longer available. You can see what's available by Googling, "Large Trauma Kit" and buy one, or you can build your own which would likely cost less.

  • Wow ! I really like how the ER bag is laid out . Really easy to access. Shoot now I have to rethink my first aid bag =) lol .

    Great video .

  • @jonmorry333

Good system for rookie "medics" like myself. I'm slowing learning proper first aid techniques when I can. :)

  • It's always good to learn . Keep up the videos and the great work

  • I love bug out bag n survival video ! Patriot, thanks for doing this. Good job, keep it on !!
