I mean if they like replaced maxi with the dual nunchucks class and added new moves, and replaced like yoshimitsu or someone or maybe even made a new guy for the katana & shuriken class or like changed that to a different weapon and a giant shuriken, it'd be the fucking bomb! They could give the shuriken guy a big ass, two handed katana, or some other japanese weapon.

Nightmare and Ivy runs SC2 hands down.

They're monsters in this. Had 79 in survival with Nightmare an the SC sword. An Ivys combos??.... Forget about it. She literally has control of the battlefield if you use her right. Real SC gamers know what I'm talking about.

Nightmare was BEAST in SC2. His strength was second only to Astaroth, and he had decent speed for such power. Many considered him a mid-tier character, but i beg to differ. If one sat down and played around with him like i did, he could easy defeat any character. (Save for Ivy, who was just a plain BAD match.) Even with his slower speed, i could still pull off 7+ combos with him.

Nightmare (SC2) is the best character in the game. He has the strongest attack, called the Earth Splitter, it does up to 400 Damage, and can Kill Sophitia in 1 hit, given the correct weapons. Nightmare's strongest 3 )SOUL EDGE COMPLETE, Soul Calibur, Glam) with the bad weapons, Sophitia is the weakest character. Link's Hyperdash, with Soul Edge complete, also deals great damage, and with the Vajra, Maxi is seemingly unstoppable, but he can not guard. Cassandra's Valkyrie is also a good choice.

Gee, when I got Soul Calibur 4, I compared it to SC2 and let's just say....

SC4 was "frothing ass." Yes, you heard me, "frothing ass."

SC4 could have had TONS of improvement, the only thing missing in SC2 was freeplay. Freeplay is only an option for Multi-P, why not just P1 vs. CPU. I don't get it. BUT, I believe SC2 was one of the greatest SC's EVAR.

i always use nightmare....i have only played SC II but i see that the only ones that are really good are the SC II and SC IV...but are the controls similar cuz in SC II nightmare is fast and yet strong..but some people say that in the others SC nightmare is slow...oh...and Voldo isnt that hard to defeat..justdo wide moves and keep away from him (at least thats the way with nightmare)...and when he starts to do the worm-thing moves just do a vertical atack to stop him. SCII's voice actors were and are the best in my opinion. No offense to the two who did SCIII's (and I would assume SCIV's, haven't played it yet) Nightmare and Astaroth voice-overs (English), but SCII's voice-overs were amazing. Astraroth and Nightmare sounded so ferocious and unstoppable in SCII. They sounded more mature and... I dunno, meaner? More angry? Enraged? Just pure good stuff.

Yeah, first time I played SC3, I tried both of em, Siegfried was alright but not nearly as agile as SC2 Nightmare, and Nightmare was so watered down I could barely do anything. I ended up sticking with Siegfried because at least he has most of the Stances, but it just wasn't the same.

SC2 appealed to a wider audience becos of its multiplatform , link on gamecube and its revamp over SC1, so thats why it is was considered the best. SC3 (ps2 only) went back to the roots of SC1/Soul Edge and the design and content is similar. I much prefer SC3 as it has better content, character design, out of the calibur series and feels more like Soul Edge which is my favourite.
