If you look at most of the major league hitters, they take very little to no stride with their front foot. Your demonstrating a stride that is not advocated by most hitting coaches that know what they are doing. Your calling an absolute stride of 3 feet feet when most big league hitter stride 0-4 inches. The BIG stride is antiquated.
The swing plants the back heel. Or the thrust of the back hip plants the front heel, imo. The hitters does not push his hands back away from the body, but keeps them connected to the back shoulder. IE as a pivot point.
Your basic principles are correct but be careful with some of the terms that you are using.... Absolutes means thats the only way you will have a major league swing.
