@ispawnalot thanks for the comment but I will have to say that I did spell the title of the song correctly and the hill itself is actually 'Solsbury' and not in 'Salisbury' but actually overlooks Bath some 20 miles away. ;-)

I just use E and A for the intro
A / E / F#m / E for verse and Dmaj7 for the bridge bit then F#m - E - D - A for the end of the sections
hope that helps.. oh and dont forget to hit the guitar with the ball of your hand! strum with fingers not the wrist
