Not huge numbers, but respectable. One of his songs is on the official nfl gameday songs vol 2 album. He had a single released to top 40 radio and another released to rock radio. Doing ok if you ask me.

I think James has undeveloped talent. I don't think the judges did him any favor always telling him he was great when he needed control, constraint and consistency. I usually favor the underdog but, in his case I tend to think he is using his disability as sympathy card since he continues to bring it up. Christiana Aguillera is an example of someone who had a hard young life, told us once, and has moved on. Judge her on her talent, not her past.

People liked him because he's interesting, that's the truth. And while his singing isn't perfect he's a good singer and a fabulous performer.

I love this, we get to "know" James. I love how the judges talk about his range, his talent, his melodic sensibility. They were more wowed than James even knew, as he had already left. And seeing Heidi, so worried for him, caring about HIM more than herself. She IS James' angel! If he'd won, he'd be stuck in a contract...I like his artistic vision better than American Idol's..and even tho he should have won..it's better for his career that he is in charge of what he sings MOABD rocks.
