  • @RapIsToday its not gonna feel pleasent, its to make you not break your head open.

  • @RapIsToday first, practice on carpet where its softer, then once you have mastered the roll, try it on hardwood

  • @RapIsToday try to roll closerto your spine because if you roll over the corner of your sholder it will hurt

  • @RapIsToday To help with hitting your spine, you need to build up more muscle in your back and make sure your not rolling straight, your shoulder you have to make sure you roll onto your shoulder, the back of your shoulder.

  • @RapIsToday I've just gotta work on my hip bone, I had it all perfect, on concrete and everything, but I doubted my technique and am learning a better way. Problem is I always hit my hip bone and I think I did something pretty bad to it because I waited like 2 weeks but it still somewhat hurts, so make sure you get it right, and dont rush into it.

    worked to me, i just recommend doing it on softer surfaces for less pain (ex. grass)

  • I get dizzy if i roll for like a minute or two :/ so i cant really improve on what im doing wrong becaquse my brain getts scrammbled :(

  • Whenever i do a roll i tend to roll sideways and my friend (who also teaches me how to roll) keeps telling me im not going fast enough which i can understand.

    When i do a roll on cement it hurts around my back right shoulder and my back left hip or waist, so im going in a diagonal motion across my back but im still going sideways and not moving forward. PLEASE HELP

  • @thesoysauceman I have the same problem. From my experience, it's easy as hell to roll if you're running. The reason you roll is to cover a greater surface area, which reduces pain. If you're standing still and go into a roll, it's more than likely going to hurt a lot more than if you roll from running.

  • @thesoysauceman Me too! I think prety much everyone would have this prob at first - it helps to use mattresses for practice - can take a lot mor impacts.

  • I have a big problem!! When I roll on the grass I do it great, but when I do it on a hard surface, the part of my column that touch the ground hurts me

  • @Emilianodigital It depends on how you roll, really. If you do it smoothly- make sure that you don't go thump or anything, then it won't hurt (at least, not for long). IF you do it correctly, it'll feel smooth and the pain will be really minor- ignorable.

  • @LORDPUFFDADDY No you didn't, you're lying. There is no "wrong" way to perform a roll, everybody has their own personal style. There is also no such thing as a "profecinal" traceur- Team Tempest and Storm Freerun and the are merely skilled at their craft, and get paid to advise or appear in movies and such. You could technically be a "profecinal" if you were extremely skilled, but otherwise you're lying. Please don't try to appear cool on youtube. Parkour is totally different from that.

  • @zandor96 As long as you feel no pain or heavy impact, you can do what ever works. Everyone is different. That is something I heard from veterans from my area.

  • @assassinrain08 Don't roll ON your shoulder roll right behind the shoulder. The BACK of your shoulder.

    And remember if you roll on your right shoulder then tuck your head to the left, and if you roll on the left shoulder then tuck your head to the opposite side.

    Keep practicing then you'll get it, i promise XD

  • @assassinrain08 This roll shouldn't hurt at all. I reccomend trying it out on grass rather than carpet, and if it's hurting your shoulder, it probably means you're not pushing off quickly enough. Try crouching with your left knee and the tip of your foot ready to spring forward, put your right leg in front of your shoulder, and use your hands to cushion the impact.

  • @assassinrain08 You have to roll on the back of your shoulder, do not collapse your arms, that's why it hurts your shoulder
