It looks like a cool gundam game, but I think I prefer Battle Assault 3. Its 3D battle without moving in 4 dimensions, wish they'd make Gundam Battle Assault 4 already!

Also, this game reminds me of Dynasty Warriors Gundam, which got annoying after countless missions of hearing people repeat lines over and over.

Because while GvG concentrates on gameplay, the Battle series concentrates on quantity. You'll notice that in these games the controls are stiff and you can't really do much, while in the VS games you feel much more free and there's a lot of depth into the system. VS is quality, while Battle is quantity.

first of all it's actually gundam seed alliance vs zaft and that game by far is not better than this one and trust me i've played all 3 games. there's just somthing about the way the funnels work in GBU that makes it seem alot more real than the funnels in GS and GvG, once u play with the funnels in this game u just can't go back. and don't forget this game has 238 different units to play with the other 2, barely 50? I like GvG more than AvsZ though....

dude the uc is where all the epic battles is man. in ce, all you see is people shooting at each other for 10 minutes and like 5 seconds of random clash of sabers. they have no sword skills whatsoever man. they just crash at each other for ten times and one of them would just blow up randomly. no skills man

Actually theres a huge difference in both titles.

Gundam Universe has alot of modes, also its more tactical and tries to be a bit of simulation. You can customize the gundams etc.

While Zaft vs Onmi is more Arcada, easy to learn controlls and very fast paced game style. Very linear gameplay also.

I would really recommend the older series' There is a much more deeper story and much more interesting and legendary characters during the UC storyline. Although I love UC, After War Century is my favourite. Love me some Gundam X.

Well you have to watch the Original Gundam :P You'll see a lot of similarities between Seed and the Original Gundam storyline. After that, I recommend watching Zeta Gundam. If you watched Seed Destiny, you will see some parallels between Destiny and Zeta Gundam. After that you should watch ZZ Gundam and finish with Char's Counterattack. There are more series' within the UC storyline but those should get you started :P

I've played Battle Royale and Battle Chronicle, even though I can't speak a word of Japanese. They're easy to play, the menus are alright to navigate through by memory, and the gameplay is fast fun. This will definately be worht buying even if you can't speak a lick of Japanese. I, personally, am looking forward to this game very much.
