UFC Undisputed 10 is sorry as fuck due to THQ not giving a fuck about the fans but putting a product out on the self for people who are simply minded and brain washed by Dana White. THQ only want to take ur money and the UFC license and put the big name fighters in the game and just slop it together and say here u go UFC and give u stiff ass robotic gameplay, pathetic online service, and weak as gameplay. EA Sports MMA will be the best MMA game in history i know because i played it at E3.
@125riptide is that why ufc undisputed 2010's sales went down 50% from last years game? ufc undisputed has no authenticity to it. All of the fighters feel very generic and a lot of the fighters have the same exact moves. All boxing games become repetitive because its only punching. If you watch it in real life you get the same feeling and thats why im an mma fan and not a boxing fan.

@125riptide Well look at it! the striking is smooth and it looks heavy and they hurt, the graphics are better, every fighter looks like the real fighter, they don't have big heads and skinny arms like in UFC 2010, now that is the complete opposite in UFC 2010, striking is patty cake stiffness, characters heads are HUGE, arms are skinny! the fighters are just out of proportion, not to mention the failed attempt of adding head movement... EA is boss when it comes to real fighting games.

@cleve101 by using fight night's layout the technique the fighters have in EA's MMA are not going to change, as in with UFC no one fighter fights the same as the next. fight night was fun for about a month and then it just got repetitive like every other sports game ea has made

@1a1b6 Not Neccesarily I own UFC undisputed 2010 and It's a Graet Game and This Game Features Entrances You can fight in Rings or Cages What UFC undisputed 2010 Lack's , and Ea Sports Game have Excellent Controls and I will purchase it upon release even though EA said MMA wasn't a sport, they took it back with Dignity and Pride and now This Game looks pretty cool. plus they Have fedor in it by the way

I played ufc 2009 and the 2010 demo i cant say much for EA MMA
but the pros and cons so far
UFC have ufc licence and only ufc licence while EA got/getting licence from every other org wich Im sorry to say hasnt the most famous fighters but Im also intitled to say that many of them can hold theyr own in the UFC hands down
I'm excited about this, EA really nailed Fight Night on the 4th time around, so hopefully they've put the same amount of effort into MMA. Keen on UFC 2010 too cause of fighter selection obviously. Sux that THQ havn't taken the time to mo-cap all the different fighting styles though. This was the ugliest problem with 2009, every fighter had similar if not exact styled strikes/takedowns/submissions, it made it sooo repeatitive and boring.
@Prohiredgun25 oh yea cuz it has more brands than ufc its so much better. first of all the ufc has the best fighters, but i dont want to start with that. the fact is who cares how many diff brands they have in a game. its not the real guys fighting its game charactrs. the gameplay looks bad compard to 2010. thats what matters. id rather have the huge ufc roster over a bad game with lots of brands. it culd be good tho who knows.

Also the majority of people from Chute Boxe has very similar styles. Wanderlei Silva, Ninja Rua, Shogun, Cyborg(s). very similar. Very aggressive circular winding punches. and killer knees.
IMO paul taylors boxing is nothing like cains. THeyre both power punchers but the simalarities stop there. Cain throws with his arms while paul uses his torso.
shoguns striking is far and beyond wandys striking. Wandy has VERY little technical strikes while shogun oozes tech striking.
either way you slice it, mo capping one muay thai fighter and using him to represent all other fighters is a shortcut and lame.
Ill still play UFC but ill treat it as an arcade fighter not a sports fighter.

EA put motion sensors on each fighter. UFC game didn't thats why every fighter has kinda the same stance and look robotic. EA put effort into this game and its going to rape.
love the striking and I take they just were showcasing the striking and new venues to figh in. hope to see the ground game action in next video they make. but awsome stuff with the blood taunts cage entrance wow its only march they got plenty of time to add more features fighters etc

Judging from the striking gameplay it looks great. Undisputed 2009 felt like you could only throw one strike, then pause, then another, then pause. This looks fluid and fast

i think this game is going to be awsome and the fact that there will be multiple rule sets including PRIDE rules where you will be able to stomp the face and knee to the head on top of all the great arenas is just another reason why it should beat out Ufc's game, and it is just rediculus to say that ufc is the only promotion with good fighters.
I wouldn't buy this on principal, but I also wouldn't buy this because UFC2010, which will feature a wider array of move and or transitions and cage usage. This feels like a very cheap attempt by EA.

Wrong about the whole "Waited to see how well UFC did." part. This game was in development before UFC undisputed was even released. The old management of EA turned down Dana White. New Management came around, and began creation of EA Sports MMA before UFC Undisputed 2009 was even released. Please learn your facts.
All those dogging the gameplay need to know that this game is PRE ALPHA. The fact that it looks this good at pre alpha is amazing. I cant wait for this game. UFC 2010 has well known fighters, but i already played as most of them in ufc 09. EA MMA is full of fighters i have never played as in a video game so im really looking foward to that. UFC 2010 will be a decent game, but it will never truely be like real MMA. EA MMA will be amazing.

before the ufc signed a deal with THQ, dana white went to EA. EA refued by saying, "MMA is NOT a real sport and we would never make a game out of that." After seeing how the UFC game was so successful though, EA made an MMA game too.

I played ufc 2009 and the 2010 demo i cant say much for EA MMA
but the pros and cons so far
UFC have ufc licence and only ufc licence while EA got/getting licence from every other org wich Im sorry to say hasnt the most famous fighters but Im also intitled to say that many of them can hold theyr own in the UFC hands down

I'm excited about this, EA really nailed Fight Night on the 4th time around, so hopefully they've put the same amount of effort into MMA. Keen on UFC 2010 too cause of fighter selection obviously. Sux that THQ havn't taken the time to mo-cap all the different fighting styles though. This was the ugliest problem with 2009, every fighter had similar if not exact styled strikes/takedowns/submissions, it made it sooo repeatitive and boring.

you "etc" stands for every single fighter in the UFC/Dream/Strikeforce.
THe only thing thats similar in how people punch is that they are striking.

Also the majority of people from Chute Boxe has very similar styles. Wanderlei Silva, Ninja Rua, Shogun, Cyborg(s). very similar. Very aggressive circular winding punches. and killer knees.

IMO paul taylors boxing is nothing like cains. THeyre both power punchers but the simalarities stop there. Cain throws with his arms while paul uses his torso.
shoguns striking is far and beyond wandys striking. Wandy has VERY little technical strikes while shogun oozes tech striking.
either way you slice it, mo capping one muay thai fighter and using him to represent all other fighters is a shortcut and lame.
Ill still play UFC but ill treat it as an arcade fighter not a sports fighter.

The thing that makes MMA unique from other sports is the fighters style and moves. If you take that away then you got just another fighting game. EVERY fighter is unique. did you get that? EVERYfighter.

Wrong about the whole "Waited to see how well UFC did." part. This game was in development before UFC undisputed was even released. The old management of EA turned down Dana White. All those dogging the gameplay need to know that this game is PRE ALPHA. The fact that it looks this good at pre alpha is amazing. I cant wait for this game. UFC 2010 has well known fighters, but i already played as most of them in ufc 09. EA MMA is full of fighters i have never played as in a video game so im really looking foward to that. UFC 2010 will be a decent game, but it will never truely be like real MMA. EA MMA will be amazing.

before the ufc signed a deal with THQ, dana white went to EA. EA refued by saying, "MMA is NOT a real sport and we would never make a game out of that." After seeing how the UFC game was so successful though, EA made an MMA game too.

ufc 09 undisputed is a damn good game. you dont realize how damn hard it is to include every aspect of MMA into a game and make it flow. and THQ was the first to do so, and no matter how good MMA is by EA everyone will remember the game that sparked the insanity. ufc 09 undisputed
