You can use a very high tempo (e.g. 1900)...

How? Put the instrument which volume you want to decrease, and put the rest on the beat before or after it.

They will play at the same time. One will be decreased, the others will stay at the same volume.

Click and hold and move the mouse down. The green bar will go down.

This means the volume is decreased.

But...that said...Sonic 3D Blast was crap so if you didn't play that and have the tolerance to survive all the way to Panic Puppet Zone then I can't blame you.

Also, it's ONLY the Genesis version of S3DB that uses this theme. This theme doesn't appear in the Saturn version of the game (the version I have). The Saturn version uses an entirely different (CD-quality) soundtrack.
