I have the MC540LL model. Can I still do this, I mean, get the sbsettings? My friend has the same model, I checked, but her iPod touch came already with messages on it. I'm not that good with this kind of thing, so can someone please help me out a little with this?
I have sbsettings, when I set the toggles, I don't see them show up on my spring board?? for example I am trying to turn off ssh, all I can find is the toggle settings, but not the actual setting itself
I am sorry, now i understand what you mean. That image is because I am running a program called Veency, which allows me to see my iPhone screen on my computer. Ill make a tut about that later on.
i installed sb settings and respringed my device, and now it's stuck on a spiining wheel help!!

Well, they wont show in the Springboard, you need to open SBSettings and press the SSH toggle...

It is a battery percentage, which is a feature in the iPhone 3GS, and can be enabled in other devices through SBSettings.
