  • this is rediculous!!!!

  • @Sterner62 Your spelling is ridiculous.

  • some of these people are really stupid idk what to do espically the lady at 2: 55 call my mother to know what to do how about calling the cops you dumb white bitch

  • A couple of years ago, I saw a baby alone in a car in the summer. I waited a few minutes then called the cops. More than 10 minutes went by and the mother came out of of the nearby supermarket. I tried to be calm but I ended up yelling at her about leaving her baby alone in the car. She was very nonchalant and got in the car and drove away. By then I was fuming. Finally the cops showed up, about 20 minutes after I called them, and she was gone. I tried to do the right thing but the cops didn't

  • @SweetMissJaye wow...all you can do is try

  • It's good to know there is some good in the world :)

  • I'd bet if it was a dog they would stop.

  • Interesting social experience.

  • i think i would have broke her window and then slap the crap outta her nd call cps..

  • Most of these people would probably do something if it was a fucking dog.

  • @melo15813 thank you

  • These videos will help us be more aware of things. We need to have duct tape with us at all times, ready to bread a car window.

  • The woman arguing was afraid someone would take the baby? I'm not sure if the greenhouse effect is common knowledge now.... If that is true, that might explain why most would ignore it.

  • You all act like you would break in but do you really think you would? I mean every person you see on this would say that they would say that they would.

  • tHESE people makes me angry

  • i would break the damn car

  • @MexicanLatina18 dam incredible hulk u jus gone break the whole car

  • For some reason, that last guy with glasses seemed like an older Bruno Mars to me. Haha

  • That was weird, I wonder if there was a fire in the car would they just react the same way?

I would break into that car and get the baby out, I would feel guilty for the rest of my life if that child dies. I'm a parent too so I know I would...

  • I'll break that window if they want to arrest me after that well so be it

  • That women has a heart, shes good, unlike 90% of people.

  • Lol call your mother ?! How old are you?? -,-

  • Now do this with a black baby.

  • @JRock005 ahahahahahaaa

  • 2:49 that girl is definately not going anywhere in life. She was going to call her mother to ask what she would do.....wow

  • it almost seems like breaking a front window would be a good idea but then the alarm would probably go off and that would make the situation worse. i think after watching this i would call the police after about of minute of seeing a baby in a car because that that point you know the mom didnt just step away for like one sec and you can easily justify it to anyone. better safe than sorry

  • Best line and taught me lesson in this scenario at 5:44

  • hearbreaking to see how ignorance people are... life is at stake but no one care... i would have stop and call the police immediately and the mom should be penalized. No point to argue with a mom who does not even think that she is making a huge mistake.

  • I can't really understand why it is so hugely important not to leave children in cars. Maybe it's because I live in England, where the temperature isn't as hot..?

  • how fucked is our society

  • Bystander effect....if that last guy didn`t get involved then it`s less likely that anyone else would have either since most people walked away. It is true that I would be afraid of being arrested if I opened the car door or broke it to save the baby. The laws and police are different in every state and sometimes it is unfair so I wouldn`t blame most of them. But at least call the police or find the parent.

  • why the hell ppl pass by,turn to look, then keep walking...its mindboggling!

  • How could people be dumb enough to leave their child in a car. I cannot even imagine how someone would think doing so would be a good thing!

  • 5:49 thats the bystander effect

  • did you see how john walk pass the BLACK guy to talk to the WHITE lady first... when in fack the BLACK guy call the police and was joined by the whit lady.. HE WALKED RIGHT PASSED HIM THOUGH.... Yea Racism Still Exist... lol

  • @Marchustle I don`t think he was a black guy but you`re right. He did pass right by him and I thought it was rude too.

  • Wow just how could you walk away?

  • Definately leaving a baby in a car during a hot summer day is not only stupid but dangerous. However I can't help but think that sometimes its human to make a mistake, its hot and if your stressed out you don't think properly. Shit happens. But definately wrong.

  • @MzLoathsome i hope of all my heart that american are not seriousely thinking like you , WHAT THE FUUUCK is this country

  • @samy94kb i never said that is was okay, i said were human which is why you have a hard time accepting human mistakes becasue your human. get it? no. fuck off. and im not american.

  • the facebook page of the movie:

the web site is under construction

it can be found on facebook under the name KINISIS(TRAFFIC)

    by Leonardo Cariglino

  • The film will soon be in the worldwide festival curcuit, please support it and have a look at the facebook page of this film. It is currently in post-production and still needs help and sponsorship. Please help to find institutions to approach then please notify me. I'm based in Amsterdam, Holland

  • I just finished shooting a short film about exactly this subject. In 2010 alone 60 kids/toddlers died in a car in that same way. Sure, neglection is a porblem but stress symptoms add to those events.

  • what has america come to, ask my mother? you can't fucking think for yourself? the whole country is bred into bullshit public education designed by the banker elite! don't break the door open because you'll have to pay for a lawyer and pay a fine and pay for damages! DERRRRRRP!!!

  • I'm a mom of two. If I would have seen that, I would have broken into the car right away. Then called the police. I would never have given her the baby back. I would have waited on the police and child protective services. People who do that don't deserve to have children! That's child neglect, abuse, and just down right cruel! I'm very protective of children. I once got in a fight with another mother at my son's school as I was picking him up at the end of the day. We were walking to our car

  • they shud try a crappy car also

  • Seeing videos like this make me feel good that there actually are good people out there even though it may not seem like it.

  • This show is basically an intellectualized version of "Punked"

  • 7:14 the black guy dips out

  • This is sad :( Americans worry more about being sued for property damage than saving a life!

  • dude im loving this social experiments soooo much

  • i like it how they rather spend time arguing with the mum instead of asking her to open the door and get the baby out...

  • Sorry no one is going to break into someone's car.

  • @JakesNotDrinking

I agree it somewhat hard to know what to do but if I see the baby in the car is about to die, I will break the car because a car window is not very expensive versus a life.

  • @JakesNotDrinking If the baby looks like it's in distress I would, and stand by the car after making sure it's all right while I wait for the police to arrive.

  • @JakesNotDrinking I would! Always! In our country nothing would happen to you if you did break into someone's car to save a baby's life!

  • @JakesNotDrinking fuck that i would yell out to see if anyone owned the car then wait about 20 seconds then there would be a chair or a brick going through a window, dont doubt that for a second.

  • @JakesNotDrinking you're a moron. A car is worth nothing compared to a baby's life.

  • "President of Kids in Cars" (2:08) - only in America

  • Comment removed

  • And? Whats so bad about being aware of a life threatening situation?

  • @iDavidBee It's just funny that so many people can be that clueless in a rich country with offers education to all. And that the solution is a housewife-organization rather than action from the public sector

  • @ftruf When you can fight your own War let me know.

  • i would break the window first, get the kid out THEN call 911.I dont care if i have to replace a window but she will brought up on child negligence charges.

  • "its a life, well its a robot but who are we to judge?" :D no, im glad they did this experiment there are now atleast 65,000 people who will maybe do something when they see it happening

  • @00CC66 Plural eh? Enlighten us.

  • @pokerface206 Me neither. I believe the word you are looking for is *their* instead of there.

  • @AngelEater0001 Or is it?

  • When this happens in real life, is the person who left the baby in the car usually the mother or the father?

  • @psx2514 What is your purpose in finding out?

  • @EvilGniusStudios Because if it's women a vast majority of the time, you have to wonder why women are given custody in 99 % of custody battles in America.

  • @ToolandRushfan Wait 5-10 minutes to see if the mom appears. There's a big difference between a mom leaving her baby in the car for a second to run in the house, and one who just forgets her. And I said wait the 5-10 minutes IF it's good weather, and you can see that the baby is breathing and not in distress. If the baby is unconscious or it's hot and she appears to be in distress, I would not even wait for the police, I would break in myself.

  • The host of this show is such an inane douche.

  • lol at the woman saying to break into the car if there's a baby in danger inside. I can imagine the entire black community thinking "Ha, no. I'm calling the cops, don't feel like being thrown in jail for carjacking".

  • "Why did you get involved?"

"How could I not get involved?"

  • "You should be shot"

  • I've seen psychological experiments like this, and I have to admit I probably wouldn't always do the right thing (intervene if someone is being threatened, etc.) But there's absolutely no way I would walk away from a baby crying in a hot car!!

  • @curlytoes79 What if it's the re-incarnation of adolf hitler?

  • @EvilGniusStudios - Good point. I guess I'd check the kid for a Hitler mustache before intervening

  • it sounds fake :I

  • Damn! that actress is hot!!

  • Baby Crying Slowly by Hollywood Edge? Fucking great song have it on my ipod aswell.

  • @GoodEvenings haha i listen to it every time i jog

  • @TheRhinoStudio because they are against damaging property yet beleive it is fine to shoot somebody.

Shooting somebody is clearly more serious than damaging property.

  • @Roarlover34 That's his opinion. It means nothing.

  • Comment removed

  • That little boy just wanted to go home !

  • "We're not going to damage property" coming from the same people who said "You should be shot."

    That some wacked-out moral beleifs

  • @Roarlover34

Plenty of people deserve to be shot. But yeah its funny they wouldn't consider breaking the window.

  • I love the guys who object. Dece

  • this social experiment is kinda misleading cuz even if they did 20 itd be diff

  • "it wasn't my car" lol, really?? so let a poor baby die instead? wow

  • GILF....

  • there are still good people in the world...

  • i watched a lot of these wwyd vids and they are all awesome except this host who seems to have nothing to say but 'why did you react' ... replace him abc

  • @lhtony and those who replied to him: I agree with everything you guys are saying. I have two dogs, and they love going on what we call 'bye-byes' which is just a trip in the car. Sometimes they'll come with us to places where we need to stop for a few minutes, but we ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS, leave the windows all half open and bring a bowl of water and NEVER on a really hot day. It's really painful to see other people leave their dogs in scorching hot cars with no air flow and no water.

  • It actually pisses me off when I see people leave dogs in their cars, anyone else?

  • @lhtony not really....unless the windows were up. Then yes, that's cruelty.

  • @lhtony Ye I agree there should be a law that at a certain temperature or something members of the public should be able to either call the RSPCA or smash the window

  • get gloves smash throw window

  • Thank god for the people who stopped to do something and shame on the people who saw the baby and kept walking. What kind of society do we live in that people would let a child potentially die because they don't want to get in someone else's business? For most parenting issues (such as public spanking) I agree, mind your own business. But if it's hot outside and you see a baby in a car, stop, look at the baby. Is it breathing? Wait 5-10 minutes, after that, it is your responsibility to act.

  • @StephanieLin Who stipulated the average wait time? And what is the purpose of spanking, from what I've gathered you don't believe it to be detrimental?

  • why did he go shake the hand of that woman first not the guy? The reporter should be thanking that guy first.

  • That cry is just so fake, i mean who hasn't heard that before?

Why would the baby be "sleep" with a closed mouth if it were crying?

Not saying i wouldn't do something if i saw a baby in a hot car, but this invesigation wasn't planned well.

  • These ABC "social experiments" are so stupid. They conduct the experiment, but they never give any insight as to why people behave the way they do. REAL scientists have conducted REAL scientific experiments that explain most of the behaviours you see on this show, but they never even mention any of that. ABC has an opportunity here to really educate people about human psychology, but they go for moral indignation instead.

  • @lemonrind pfft, like ABC would air a show with scientific fact and reasoning.

  • LOL, at 1:30 you can see he has a song on his iPod called "baby crying slowly".

  • heres what you do, assess the situation: is it hot out? are the windows open? is the AC running? is the child crying? call the police with out giving your name, tell them about the baby, left in the car, possibly save a life and a parent's jail time, and feel your heart grow just a little bit

  • if this was real the baby would probably be better off dead then with some crazy parent. We have overpopulation anyway.

  • @ThunderZone9 Seriously no baby deserves to die way to be a douche bag.

  • @Ajax2193

I didn't say the baby deserved it. I was just saying that if this was real it might be better that way then a crazy women raising it. There is also no need for you to post 3 comments saying the same thing.

  • @ThunderZone9 No baby deserves to die even if it a retarded parents.

  • @ThunderZone9 No baby deserves to die even if i has retarded parents. And Our population is just fine unlike places like China.

  • break the windows. get into a shop- tell them what happened. leave the baby in the shop and tell them to call police. leave asap. escape problems.

  • i would brake that window and sell that baby on ebay...those fake babies are worth alot

  • lmao no thnx im not getting sued!

  • i wouldn't raise a finger because children are stinking shitting barfing parasites entirely without charm until about six. to eight. also darwinism. especially darwinism.

  • I don't know why but I kind of doubted the blond woman saying she would definitely kick in the window so positively I mean.

People would think you were trying to steal a car, if not you were trying to kidnap the baby, you'd be sued for vandalism even more if the baby was alright after all. And last, you wouldn't know the owner of the car, what if it was an aggressive big man??? I doubt she would have kicked in the window.

  • @Ireneluvsfanfics

Then tell people around you there is a baby in the car. Make a quick call to 911 and explain. That simple step will prevent any vandalism or kidnapping charges - police are familiar with cases of children locked in hot cars. A judge will throw the book at whoever owned the car. LOL "agressive big man." Don't make cowardly excuses.

  • Fuck, i thought they left a real kid in the car when this video started. My heart nearly stopped.

  • When I was a toddler my mother left me for just five minutes (she told me she'd be right back) while she ran and got something and a stranger automatically came up to the car, tapped on the window and tried to get me to scroll down the window an inch. I was so scared, I thought he was going to try to rob me ( I was young and stupid) but once I scrolled it down a tad he smiled and walked away. Looking back on it it gives me faith on human race :P

  • @aaaraura that's so sweet :) it's nice to know that there are good people in the world who would care about someone they don't necessarily know.

  • It could be a piece of platinum vs. a babies life and I wouldn't give a fuck. That platinum is gonna go down.

  • I'd call that bitch's Mother and ask her if I can bang her daughter.

  • Here's the problem. If you were to try and save the baby you'd be sued for vandalism of the car because you had to smash the window and possibly charged for kidnapping. Not to mention feminist groups protesting outside your home. That's how it works in fucked up America.

  • @7477238

No "feminst group" would do that. A judge would throw the book at the person who left the baby in the car, no way would you be sued successfully for vandalism or kidnapping. Quit making up stories to excuse inaction.

  • @loner1878 I'm not making up stories. In America people are way too sue happy. No the Judge won't throw the book at the Mom, rather a deal will be made with the Mom and she will go home scot free. That's how it works, criminals walk free and innocents get screwed. Our justice system is backwards. People should take action however those who do get chastised for it unfortunately.

  • @7477238

Then please cite a specific case where someone rescuing a baby from a hot car was convicted of vandalism or kidnapping. Most women in that scenario will be charged with at least a misdemeanor - the punishment of which can vary. But in most cases it at least prevents a repeat of the behavior.

I work in law enforcement and it does get on my nerves to see criminals get off easy.

  • @loner1878 What do you mean by criminal?

  • Even a little kid 3 years old walking on the sidewalk all by her self. I was looking for anybody but when she was about to cross the busy street I ran to stop and some kid saw it too helped out. Cars doing 30 can't stop in time if she ran across. Dum parent didn't know kid escaped the house. He came out after I called the cops.

  • 4 people leave their baby's in cars with the windows closed

  • "i was going to all my mother and ask her.."

  • This is an example to demonstrate that people with "nobody cares" and "you have to look just for yourself" mentality are wrong.

  • ok so if i saw a baby in a car on a hot day, the first thing id do is brake the car window!!!! who could just walk past that?!!

    sick people!!!

  • Wow im only 11 years old and if I saw a baby left in a car, I wouldn't just walk away I would brake into the car a get it!

  • I wonder how different this experiment would be in different parts of the country. I have a friend in Florida who happened upon a child locked alone in a car twice this summer. She called the police and waited for them to arrive before she left.

Last yr I put my child in his carseat and got in and bent down to fix my shoe. When I sat up there was a woman standing there horrified then she saw me and laughed and walked away. I realized she thought he was alone. I was grateful that someone cared.

  • they were more busy discusing about how bad it was than trying to get the baby out

  • @HannibalFL86 4 then raise the child yourself instead

  • prosocial behavior kicks ass rock on people who helped. was wondering there was a tv show that did nothing but social experiments like this one, anyone happen to remember the name?

  • Comment removed

  • but it is much better than doing nothing like a lot of them did.

  • if i saw a baby in the car alone, i wouldn't call 911, i would break the car window and grab the baby out and take it to the hospital to see if it was ok.

i may destroy property, but who is the real criminal here? parent or me? destroying property vs negleting a child or even a baby. which one is worse?

  • @alipazagaful Asking which is worse is trivial. How can we alleviate the problems?

  • @EvilGniusStudios

    ...

might as well call 911 then...

  • People fear litigation. Lawsuits have ruined society.

  • @Barnolde No, it has to do with conformity. It is not about litigation.

  • A problem with individualism... this is what happens when you leave families to rear children and there is no sense of 'community responsibility'... most people 'don't get involved'.

  • I'm pretty sure that breaking a window would be "A piece of glass vs. A babies life". Not a piece of metal. Windows are made out of glass. Not metal. Glass.

  • @skatebaker4 Some windows are made of other translucent or transparent materials.

  • she looks quite good for having 3 grand kids GILF

  • It sounds stupid, but I'd probably think that the parent just ran in and would be right out. Or that they were in the car. Or something.

  • @ThumbprintTheatrics You would assume they ran in. You can't think it.

  • 5:45 Ice T

  • your not going damage property to save a life? wtf?!

  • a piece of metal versus a baby's life ...

  • People are worthless scum who have to be led around like sheep. It takes that 1 in a 100 person to walk by who has some fucking balls to do something.

  • @labartic Your language is erroneous.

  • I know some people aren't aware of whats happening sometimes. I'm saddened by some of these experiments. The oone with the bag lady made me wonder if any guys under 60 are still men anymore. But I'm young as are my friends and I know that we would never allow something like thaat in our presence.

  • the baby wasn't real.. thank GOD if you ever see a baby please to save it open the door & comfort the child & call the police.. don't just walk by.. save a life

  • hahahah omg that guys awesome. you should be shot. excuh-yoozz me? i said you should be SHOTT

  • yea, why not make her open the car asap first lol? they just argued: "that's horrible, that's horrible"

  • Did the baby die?

  • @TexasCalibur if you did not see them preparing, it was a fake baby.

  • wooow dumb people

  • If you leave the air conditioner running and the doors locked, and are just running in quickly it should be no f-ing problem. Back when I was little, it was a fact of life: leave the windows down and leave your kids in the car while you run in and get groceries. My mom did it, so did everyone else's that I knew--at least once in a while. Leaving the doors locked with airconditioning for 5 minutes with baby in view should be no prob.

  • @kissyhot1 LOL but who actually LEAVES THE AIR CONDITIONING ON? Not my mum. And it DOES NOT MATTER if you leave the windows down, it STILL GETS HOT. I mean, it's a hot summer day, what do you think is blowing through the windows, what? A freakin' SNOWSTORM?

  • @kissyhot1 Perhaps they should not have children.
