@tmgr100 You don't collect 7 gems to get to the final boss in Sonic, collecting them just gives you an alternate ending. But yeah, other than that, pretty much.

When I first completed the game, the first thing I did was look up what the fuck happened because the ending was just so... rushed. Mickey throws a magical ball out of nowhere, and turns her into an anthromorphic mouse like Minnie and suddenly helping them out of the castle.

wow. memories. this was the first game i ever started playing. my dad started me on this when i was 2 or 3. he said i couldn't make mickey walk and jump at the same time. hahaha!

Thx for the memories dude. when i was 12 i beat this game it took me forever and i did it with out continuing once. I thought the watsr level was hardest (i was only a kid )took me the longest to beat the boss once i finally got to him! XD

I think that the gems, at the end, make the witch more younger an nicer, and because Mickey collected them, the gems turned the witch like Mickey and Minney. That's my oppinion, but unfortunately, I don't know if it's true.

In the end, the witch somehow looked more like minnie and turned good. Weird.

Doesn't always end up like that in Disney stories. The witch from Snow White died by falling of a cliff, the witch from Sleeping Beauty turned into a dragon and was killed with a sword through her heart.

Well, she was going to steal Minnie's beauty and use it to make herself beautiful, so MAYBE in the end the spell accidentally gave her Minnie's beauty AND inner beauty. So she turned good like Minnie.

@JohnnyDFox You know, that's a REALLY clever subversion of the vain sorceress plot and it's way inside the fairy tale aesthetic. Plus, it's a much more family friendly ending than falling off a cliff or being impaled by a ship.

When Mickey throws them gems in the air to create that rainbow bridge WOW. I get a tingly feeling of goodness all inside. Same when he throws that ball up in the air to kill the witch, WOW. Music is great.
