  • to my mind, ZERG is the worst race for builds, with zergs it ALL depends on your oponent, otherwise, prootoss and terrans can do their builds almost no matter what

  • im new to sc2 so what do those numbers at 1:25 mean? are those ur number of drones at the time u make those things?

  • @iTycho check out the top right corner, on the zerg bar (mineral, gas, control), those numbers you were asking for are the numbers of the control, that means that when you have, e.g. 15 control you should build up another hatchery, and when you have around 18 you should be getting out your queen; control is the equivalent for supply depot (terrans), or psi (protoss)

  • what if he goes early banshees? that will throw you off completely. no defense whatsoever against air to ground?

  • @Chisuz Thats the thing about these strategies. You most likely will have to have two differents strategies when going into a game otherwise your left with a weak strategy. Your supposed to be prepared.

  • schtrategy

  • it's super effective!

  • my friend is doing this on me when we play Z v T ... i can not counter it even when i know its coming..i tried to build vikings to take them out but could not take down enough fast enough... i think the best thing to do is to build bunkers inside the base..like this guy in the video... turrets do not even help it seems...........any more suggestions on how to counter this attack would be appreciated :)

  • @ijustwannabeadrummer if you already know its coming, then u already know he's vunerable to a cheese rush. if the cheese doesnt kill him outright it'll at least buy you some time to mass on marauders and medivacs to counter the roaches. honestly i dont understand why the terran in this video did so horribly. im a zerg and i know for sure that this isnt hard to counter, with marauders pretty much THE best roach killer for early game.

  • @ijustwannabeadrummer go marauder heavy... it sometimes works :D

  • would this strategy work well against a protoss forge fast expand on say shakuras?

  • imo terran should have gone for a base trade here. just send the full medivacs and the marines at the front over to the zerg base and lift off all structures. roaches wouldn't be able to hit anything really valuable in terran base and wouldn't have time to get back home before at least one hatch and a ton of drones went down.

  • @bobzilla211 nah. zerg wouldve just made units while u attacked and would delay ur attack or beat u completely

  • @bobzilla211 boo you nooby silver

  • 15 Hatchery

    15 Spawning Pool

    17 Extractor

    18 Queen

    20 Roach Warren

    36 Lair

I'm new to starcraft 2, I get the 15 Hatchery, 15 Pool, 17 Extractor part. but i dont get what to build between the "20 Roach Warren" and "36 Lair". do i keep building drones?

  • @Avteilos YES. Zerg rely HEAVILY on economy

  • y u no spread creep, bro?

  • This tactick is very very effective i use it often.

  • If you want to go quick roach then go:

    13gas

    14pool

    15ovi

    18roach

    and 23ovi.

You will have a shit tonne of gas to make enough roaches to harass the shit out of your enemy.

  • TeamSCVlife has got to be the most ironic/sadistic sc2 name ever for a zerg.

  • all in

  • Force, you should post the YABOT build order so that it's easier for us n00bs to practice!

  • wow two epic top comments :P

  • You can rush 11/12 min ovie speed+drops and do baneling bombs to clean up marine tank push (2 rax expand typically, as 1 base comes ..much earlier)

You know..tanks dont shoot up :D Then send in lings soon as marines leave tanks by themselves = win.

  • @Bart0vds

Welcome to StarCraft, where everything you do is situational!

  • @Bart0vds

Dude, its not bad. If you've never seen it used right that doesn't mean you can't use it right. I play random and I've used mass roach +roach/ling drop directly on a siege/marine contain to great affect... guess where? IN THE DIAMOND LEAGUE!

So how about you stop acting like your OPINION is an ultimatum and accept that this is, at times, a viable strat (the same can be said for literally every other strat video from Force) and just accept it or ignore it!

  • @MadBagOfHorses yes of course there are ways to do it right but not massing roaches and doing a direct drop in the main, i think that was the point of this strategy video.... by the way i dont think my opinion is the best i have no idea why you think that.

  • @Bart0vds

'Opinion is best' is a misquote - which is what you're accusing me of doing in my comment above. What I actually said is that you shouldn't act like your opinion is an ultimatum. Your opinion is that a Roach drop is not viable, you're trying to use that opinion to tell Force he shouldn't have made this video. Your opinion, regardless the specifics, has nothing to do with what strats Force thinks are viable.

His example is into the main, all of the build order content is useful for me

  • @Bart0vds faggot, just, you're a faggot 'nuff said.

  • @FiloJacobbb hehe it mustve took a really long time to look up my comment no life

  • @Bart0vds nah, I just clicked the @Bart0vds on Force's comment .... fail fag :)

  • @FiloJacobbb No recent comments from bart0vds hehe u lie lol that makes u even more sad

  • @Bart0vds ??? what are you talking about, you're so stupid >_>

  • @Bart0vds Most unique strategies wont work most of the time. Thats why they are UNIQUE. The trick is to learn as many of these tricks as possible and when the appropriate situation comes around, use it and own. HENCE. Situational. Im not sucking up, but Force strategy vids are very clear and easy to understand.

  • I stated a simple fact to your response to the video! Opening builds are determined on:

    1. The size of the map.

    2. Spawn location of your opponent.

    3. Race of your opponent.

    4. How aggressive or economic you want to play that particular game.

From that point on every decision is based on viable build comps against what your opponent has, and scouting information you get throughout the game. I have over 70 strat videos for each race, the basics are covered, things are getting specialized.

  • @ForceSC2strategy im sorry for overreacting i deleted my comments, altough i still think this strategy isnt worth it. thank you for your response.

  • @Bart0vds you queer fag

  • @GOcgyFLAMESgo christ, people like you don't help. try some less offensive insults, maybe ones that don't blindly use people's sexual orientation as an assumed negative. calling people gay, fag, queer etc. is so 1990s.

  • @Bart0vds Damn, Troller's be trollin'....

  • @Bart0vds zerg is a reactionary race. don't like it? play terran. shut the fuck up and stop whining.

  • @radroach44 retard

  • @Bart0vds bad troll be trolling again

  • I always see it posted - I just haven't said it myself yet. Force your easily one of the best casters for SC2....and you look so much like the Vancouver Canuck Alexandre Burrows its hilarious

  • @julesjordan

Idk about the Alexandre Burrows bit. I see more Tom Cruise in Burrows. Force has more of a laid back vibe, whereas Tom and Alexandre are more tense.

  • I was very sad to see no more zerg strategy videos... last one was one month ago^^

    Thanks ForceSC2strategy!

  • Lately I've switched to playing From Dust, but I'll be back to Starcraft in like 1 week.

  • infestors are op

  • @UJu5GotOwn3d Infestors are balanced and cost-effective. They just look op compared to most of the Zergs' units which are ineffective for their cost. If you want a really op unit, look at the High Templar and how Zerg have no way to deal with them.

  • @DenarianLord They have consume to counter the losses caused by feedback. That way when templar feedback, they lose storm. Similarly with emp on infestors, the consume shrinks the army for energy re-up.

    LOLOL

This is the BIG reason Zerg are so weak in strong TvZ and ZvP

  • holy shit!

  • wow force, thanks!

  • Force's deep voice blows out my Subwoofer** :-)

  • @SavageSn1p3r5 Hah, innuendo ftw :P

  • If a competent Terran scouts roaches he'll make rauders and you're fucked.

  • @amichProductions The zerg started mass roach production at the 7:40 minute. By the 9:40 where the terran drops, he has already massed the roaches and was ready for a drop. No much time for mass marauders ... 2 minutes zergs can produce so much (given they have the econ for it). I guess lesson learned, push/harass by the 8th minute or so.

  • @iliofotou word. If you don't pressure a Zerg, you lose. I know, I main Zerg.

  • bring back community spotlight?

  • that guy got owned O.O

  • I think this worked because the Terran player tried to do a quick expand into Marine/Tank and didn't see the mass Roaches until he dropped in the Zerg main. By then he scrambled to build bunkers all over, including in his own main, but it was too late.

@Renegadius Nydus Worm would have been spotted by the Terran player since most of his base was covered by buildings.

  • Why not just Nydus Worm?

Terran never look back in their bases, anyway.

  • @Renegadius cause 1 unit coming out of a time is too slow

  • @Renegadius its just a different strategy, and nydus can get scouted also

  • @Renegadius

    Good point!

    LOL

Drops are cooler though and don't have a warning sound

  • @Renegadius O.o Any good starcraft player would be completely aware of what's happening in his base. o.o

  • @HayateRinKiyoshi Oh sure, but a lot of the Terran out there right now only know the two barracks fast expand bunker in expand if pressured double bunker in enemy base marine marauder rush. All it requires is two barracks, a command center, a rally into the enemy base, and from then on their eyes are up front. You get bronze league players skipping up into gold, and they have, for the longest time now, never had to consider looking back into their main - where prisms and overlords now fly.

  • lol dont know how to eat this as terran

  • @shades344 mass turrets

  • can it defend a two rax?

  • That was sick

  • I'm doing this from now on, screw it. I'm not going to lose to terran mech bullshit anymore.

  • @KatideChaos hopefully this works against toss FF bullshit as well xD

  • 100th
