What you are asking is exactly what ty has done. It seems that if you were as hard core about Beanies as you say, you wouldn't trash them before you even know what's going on. The store I buy from says that they have had more inquiries about 2.0 in the past week than they had the last 6 months. They are ordering the max. allowed by ty and they don't think it will be enough!

As far as I can tell, this is the original Beanie style. Just now with a web-based interactive feature. They even seem to have returned to their original size. Beanies have been shrinking for years. Now I share my love of Beanies with my kids much easier

In the two videos I've seen the chiuahah Divalectable thats an old beanie, and the bears look just the same as old beanies, i've just read from another post that they are a tiny bit larger. I really think that ty has saved the beanies!
This how I think the site will go: The first intro is mainly Spring Beanies, so they get Spring themed rooms such as the burrow (for rabbits) and the barn (for chicks and sheep).
I'm guessing that when the next intro comes out in May/April they will be summer themed and more biomes will be available (like the island and beach). Then winter ones will open the iceburg and mountains.
