In diesem Film wurde sehr gut das Thema der offenen Weide (Open Range) beleuchtet. Und die damit verbundenen blutigen Fehden der damaligen Zeit. Nicht Costner's bester Western (für mich immer noch Wyatt Earp), aber dennoch sehr unterhaltsam ind toll fotografiert. 5*****
