how does NSA fit into the Bouma senate race.. I see the twisted perversion of religious indoctrination in gershams Bouma's family and why he arrived in the Idaho panhandle in the first place , makes more sense..interesting,,,So this Cult church is trying to make in roads in government in Idaho as Wilson followers ordered to take over every open seat from dog catcher to city council and beyond.
The reason why Dougee Wilson feels "ripped off" is because he's so incredibly wrong and sick and fucked up that he had to make his own asshat fucked up sick school so he could pretend he's right. It's so sick and pathological and twisted that its beyond words.
i feel really really sad for people like you, Foucachon. These kids are brainwashed and so are you. It's sad. You're in a cult.
It should be noted that foucachon is a devotee of Wilson and a student at New St. Andrews. Every major Reformed denomination has repudiated the theology Wilson champions, sometimes called the Federal Vision, as being antithetical to the central doctrine of the Christian faith, justification by faith alone. Even Lane Keister, a pastor in the PCA who once publicly exonerated Wilson on his blog, came to the realization last March Wilson does indeed deny justification by faith alone.
@BurningManDown You created your account yesterday. In other words, so that you could anonymously say what you're too much of a coward to say yourself. Actually, I have had the privilege of creating the DVD curruculm for these Logos kids. Guess what - they know their stuff. Oh, and one more thing. I can't help but wonder if the highest percentage of colored people attend Christ Church. I know a lot of them personally. Wonderful people that we love. Unlike you. You have a problem with hate.
Lee Webb as a PCA elder needs to get up to speed and stop promoting Gospel denying heretics like Wilson. He should read NOT REFORMED AT ALL which exposes Wilson's deadly teaching.
@magma2551 Doug Wilson doesn't deny the gospel. If you're referring to Sean Gerety's book, and Trinity Foundation stuff, I've already called him on factual mistakes in his book. He twist Wilson's words.
but what ive noticed is that the teachers favor the kids who go to the logos church called Christ Church...my sister felt like an outcast cuz we didnt go to that church...i just think that public school is fine for people...come on.. you can learn spanish!!
@twixqueen I didn't go to Logos, so I can't comment on how students are treated there. However, I was an assistant to a foreign language teacher at Moscow High school, and I can honestly tell you that on most days we were doing good if anyone in the class learned anything at all. There is almost no discipline at all there, and the kids are very, very distracted. One thing I don't think you can say about Logos is that the kids don't learn there.
@twixqueen Actually there are 25 different congregations represented at Logos. And quite a few denominations at NSA as well. I subbed as a French teacher for a few weeks (I'm French), and churches came up, and I asked them we're they were each from. Only a few went to the same church! Wonderful to see the diversity of the body of Christ all in one classroom!
but what im saying is more than half of the kids that go to the school go to Christ Curch.coincence? i think not. they play favorites. its true. u have never been a student there so you wouldnt know.
If you take in a bunch of knowledge and don't ever relate it back to the source (God), then you are an academic failure. I guess it depends if you're using a humanist or Christian definition of education. The humanist definition is so short-sighted.
I teach in the public schools. The kids are bored and see nothing in the system . They are not challenged enough and in this format they learn to think and investigate and communicate . All knowledge comes from the ability to do these three things. I like it and would love to have this available when I was in school. You may not like Pat but at least give credit to the people who are turning out winners and not dropouts.

Seems like the preacher needs to enroll in that school, so he can learn how corrupt he is in his interpretation of the bible - he actually supported Guliani - a known fornicator, to become the president of the US.
if you hav ever been to logos and then been to a public school, u would not be saying that. thats one of the reason that logos has a bad rep, is alot of people who go there act like there better then everyone else.
Mostly English is derived from a Germanic base, not Latin. It's French, Spanish and Italian which have a Latin base. Latin teaches us little about English exept the origins of specific nouns.
50-70% of English words have Latin roots. Ever taken the SAT? It's extremely helpful to have Latin in your background. Ever reading a book over a 12th grade reading level? Again, extremely helpful when you come across vocab you don't know the meaning of.
you gotta love atheists. they complain about christians being so uneducated and irrational. i went to a humanistic, atheist public school for 12 years and was NEVER offered logic. - boobs
Yeah, only about 4 students out of every class go to NSA, it's true.... and also, no students have gotten kicked out of Logos as long I've been there, a few have flunked out, but it's only because they refused to try, not because they weren't smart.
Lower performing students and their families often complain about hard work chiefly because they are coming from public school daycare facilities and not being challenged. My kids joined a classical homeschooling partnership and within 2 years they had such a remarkable improvement in every area. Truly amazing! The training need not be particularly christian in nature for this effect to take place, it is just a better model of education.
I certainly hope I'm not snotty, and I'm sorry that you think that, I can only say that you must not have really met anyone from my school who justly represents it. :] But what you said was a lie, there are kids in my class and in my school who struggle, who are not naturally smart, and yet they still get by. The only people who have left Logos that I've ever known have done so for other reasons.
The only error in this film is the misinformed statement that 'many Logos School graduates go to New Saint Andrews college'. Actually, very few New Saint Andrew's students are from Logos School.
Logos is a wonderful school. You start learning latin in 3rd grade and by the time you finish, you start thinking in latin. Some people think they are snotty, but believe me you get sent to the principal if you have messy hair. They do not end up snotty.
The reason these kids do so well is because they kick the kids out of the school if there grades are not good enough. Alsothey turn out to be snotty I know this from living in moscow.
If you're saying that they are not politically correct like the UI next door and hand out degrees for attendance you are right. I live in Moscow and don't find these young Christians to be snotty at all.
the number of kids that get expelled from logos don't even compare with the number of kids from public schools in the area, so don't even say that's the reason for their above average acadamic performance.
@TheCampingTree Eh-he...I actually know a few struggling students at Logos. They don't kick them out, they encourage them along. Sure, Logos isn't for everyone. They don't lower the bar down to someone's needs. But, they do everything they can to bring that student UP TO the bar they have set.
