The US needs border walls - but do it Israeli style; 30ft high reinforced concrete walls with guard towers. Follow that up with an Egyptian-styled underground barrier to prevent tunneling into the US. Funny thing is, it'd be cheaper than most other options, and it'll sure as hell work better too.
What doesn't make sense to me is the the government would rather spend money creating all these illegal alien detention centers (day camps) instead of a wall to keep them out in the first place..
