Black hawk down is a good movie for one reason. It shows the horror of war and how our serivce men and ladys will lay down their lives for each other. Other then that it sucked. It missed half the facts about the storie and added stuff that never happend. Now you have the little want airsoft kids who think they know all about the battle because they saw the movie and play airsoft games call blackhawk down with plastic guns. They need to stick to the facts and honor the Dead.

At 2:18 is a close friend of mine that was in the battle. His name is Shawn Nelson. He was the 60 gunner on chalk 3. He was about 200 meters from Super 61 when it hit the ground. I have talked to him at length about the battle and the movie. There was much more to the battle than that which is shown. He put 18,000 rounds through is 60 in the 2 days of the battle. He made it back OK. May God bless and keep all the ones who did not.

This is one of the best songs I have heard on the Battle of Mogadishu. If they ever do a second Black Hawk Down movie then this should be the song for it.
