  • They put on a great show back in 1984, north american world tour

was extensive. You could tell beyond those heady days, Duran were

a rock band with synths. who knew how to articulate music video

Video Album Duran Duran 1982 won a grammy award.

Lonely In Your Nightmare, Night Boat, The Chauffeur,

    Master classes in promotional films.

  • Wow this was the start of an ongoing love affair with DD for me...and it continues today....check out All You Need is Now!!!! .....always, Diamond DD

  • AHHHH MEMORIES....Simon LeBon is still so gorgeous it isn't funny.

  • nice duranduran shoes

  • Once my young wife ask me the meaning of DURAN DURAN... my answer was ¨this is the band where all the guys want to be and all the girls want to go out with¨

  • Wow, that brought back memories. I was 12 in '84 and was one of the hugest DD fans out there. I am still a fan at 36 years old. They will always have a place in my heart.

  • I can't help but think that if i'd been a duran fan in the 80's i would have gotten very irritated with the all the hysterical girls...

  • I am a male, I don´t like them...but I love their pop-rock music and futuristic videos (some of their soft-porn videos as "Girls on film", "The Chauffeur" or "Electric Barbarella" also). Cheers from Baires

  • The good old days. I was one of those girls and to be honest I still act that way when I go to their concerts. Not much has changed. They just have that effect on their fans.

  • They always will be huge it doesn't matter how much they are gonna sell...DD are the best pop group ever...Forever MAX DURANFAN

  • They were BIG. People need to realise how big these guys were.

  • I remember my brother chaperoning me at the '84 MSG concert.... he kept asking what the hell was going on, you couldn't hear through the screaming!!!

  • '84.... I was 14.... saw them at MSG in NYC.... my mother had to totally respackle my teen room ceiling due to all the staple gun holes in the ceiling. I ran out of room on the walls.

Still love them. Go boys go!!!

  • i was 12 when i first fell for them, now im almost 36 and still fancy simon and the rest of the 'wild boys'.my 3 yr old daughter sings 'reach up for the sunrise'.shes a little Duranie:)

  • $15 seats...those must have been the days.

I wonder if those girls---now women---are still fans.
