Thank you. It sure took some time and I reworked it on several occasion to improve details (see the Final Cut version). My solution for for black box was using pitch black walls, There are several CS sets with those. I used Jcats Darkride, You could use it for your Star Wars ride and replace the generic walls with those. They are more tricky to install but its worth it.
That was cool, great video. That must of taken you a long time, and something I would like to do accomplish making my next Star Wars coaster. How to make a black box? I am watching some of your other videos right now.
This ride has been nominated for a MarvelMaker RCT3 Award. Be sure to stay posted as to whether or not it wins! The website for the awards is on my channel.
The list of CS I used in this project is way too long, but I can mention DasMatze Domes for the sphere of the Imperial battleship and Shy-Expo 3000 for the exterior walls of the Mothership (expo 3000 set has huge concrete beams, I simply used it in an unexpected way!)
I made a Skybox...the hard way, since you can't really make a skybox in RCT3. I used pitch black wall sets (custom scenery). For space floor and ceiling, I built huge squares (50 x 50 tiles). For the walls I built giant wall units (10 width x 60 height). Then i saved these as custom structures and pasted them repeatedly until it creates this pitch black skybox. I had to make marks on the ground and on ceiling units to avoid overlapping. Glad it worked but it was time consuming and stressful !
Done. If anybody wants to see this ride with visible track, go to Spez1964 channel. It's there, with music... and many more weird rides and parks are also available.
I used all the custom scenery wall set and accessories I could find on line. There is almost no original RCT3 pieces in this project (apart from the rides). they didn't seem appropriate. Building the mothership and battleship took a few weeks.
You're right. Maybe I should upload the video again with music...
